Help me choose......

have decided to take the plunge and get into mech's. this will be my first mod, so please keep that in mind.

after a ton of research, i think i have narrowed my choices down to the following mods:

1) stingray x clone by SXK - This seems to be an excellent device, and probably the most popular recommendation from all that i have read. just not really my style...like the plain brushed SS look.
kinda gaudy IMHO.

2) SMPL clone by SXK - Really like this one, but am concerned about the hybrid aspects of it. also like the four9, but it seems that this is not a good choice for a newb like me. definitely my style though.

3) Slojo clone by Infinite - Just discovered this one, and can't seem to find many reviews, but the ones i have found are excellent.

All of these are at about the same price point, and yes price is a consideration, but quality is a must... this thing will be getting used.....not a collector.

So what do y'all think? Pros/Cons? Any other suggestions?

I'm not familiar with the slojo, but I like its looks. I would not go with the SMPL for a first mech.

I think you are pretty safe with an Infinite product. Reading the slojo description, it hits all of the right ticks. You have me thinking about one.

I have a Nemesis clone that has been awesome and they are pretty cheap. They also come in a few different finishes.

Next Mech I am buying is a mutant mod clone.

I am nuts for 26650 mechs. Love copper too.

I have a Nemesis and a copper vanilla in 18650 size. I don't like either all that much. Both are clones too.

The Stingrays look nice. I would be inclined to buy one.

I should also say, I like FLUSH fire buttons. Love to have a Fuhattan or Manhattan, but HATE a button that sticks out. Those safety rings are a PIA as far as I am concerned. The one on my Nemesis sucks ass to spin it in and out. Took much fumbling around.

I got the stingray X and it was good. I didn't like the button though. I prefer the magnet on the FU Manhattan. Still was a good mod. Just get it in copper.
