Help needed on adding VG or pg to an eliquid to cut the nic level

I think I know the answer but will ask anyway. I have a 15 ml bottle of ejuice with 24 mg nic. I want to make this bottle 12mg of nic instead of 24. So if I take the 15 ml of 24 mg of eliquid and add 15 ml of pg or vg then that should now give me 30ml of 12 mg nic. Am I right in my assumption? I am also assuming that by doing this the flavor will of course be weaker? Any help on this is appreciated.

Your assumption is correct. You will end up with 30ml of 12mg juice and the flavor will be weaker.

Cutting this in half will ruin the flavor, making it too weak, assuming it's not unflavored. I'd make another 15 ml batch of the juice with 0 nic then combine them as opposed to adding plain pg/vg
