Help with identifying wire.

When I first started building I bought a kanger subtank with the rba. The vape shop sold me some "stainless steel" wire that I have never been able to get a good build on. I pulled the wire out again to day to try a build on my twisted messes and none of the figures from the coil wrap calculator match up no matter what wire chose.

The wire is 28 ga I think (there are no markings on the spool) I did 24 wraps on 9/64th (3.57 mm) and it ohms @.34 and the wire is magnetic. After a couple of pulls it ramps up to .64 ohm then slowly goes back down. 24 wraps is ridiculous for a build and pulls so much power from my mod that I cant do a dual coil build. I dont want to throw the wire away so maybe I will try and use it to make some clapton wire using kanthal a1 for the core.

Never mind, the wire is way to soft so I went ahead and wrapped it around 26 ga kanthal and made a nice clapton.
