Help with Innokin T22

Greetings to everybody here, this is my first post on Vaping Underground. I thought this would be the best place to get answers so here goes. I'm not into big clouds, only flavor so I bought an Innokin T22 tank. I'm currently using it on an HCigar DNA 38W box mod. The flavor is great and there is more than enough vapor but the mouthpiece and vapor get really hot! I have the watts set at 13.6 but the vapor feels more like 130.6! Has anyone else been having this problem and if so what did you do to solve it, if it can be solved. Also, I'm getting plenty of air and that's why I can't understand the hot vapor. Any help will be really appreciated!

Prior to carrying out this review I had received an email from an ecigclick.co.uk reader that had purchased the T22 and was concerned that the mouth piece was getting too hot for his lips while vaping.

Keep in mind the Endura T22 is built for mouth to lung vaping.

The way I vape is to take slow and steady 2-3 second draws. I will normally take about 3 separate draws at a time and then rest for a minute and repeat if necessary.

The only way I could replicate the drip tip getting too hot was to do the following:

  • Direct lung inhales with a draw/pull that was 3 or 4 seconds in length.
  • Even then I would only feel it getting too hot after the 3rd/4th draw.
  • Pulling too hard as if you were smoking a cigarette – For new vapers, keep in mind that vaping requires a different draw/pull technique. Slow, soft and steady is the way to go. Not hard pulls.
So if you experience the drip tip getting too hot keep the above in mind. The Endura T22 is designed to be provide a top notch mouth to lung vape and this is the where you will get the best results."

SirRichardRear: thanks for your response, the thing is I have tried all those things. I have been using the T22 like an Aspire glassomizer which IMO I think that is about as close to an analog as you can get, so things being as they are I am just going to clean the tank up and rebox it. It is WAY too hot and frankly I wasn't all that impressed with the flavor. Thanks again for your input

You might need to let the coils set a bit longer before hitting it.I got an Endura 22 kit and For MTL tootle puffing it just can't be beat.
I've only had a couple gnarly hot hits off it usually when I forget to let it sit after installing a new coil.
