I have a derringer rda on a Aspire CF Sub-ohm. When I first did my coil setup with 26 gauge kanthal, it worked perfectly fine. I took it off and replaced it with a smaller gauge, and it hardly worked so I quickly took that off. Now i'm back to the 26 gauge kanthal, with the exact same setup, but it is hardly producing any vapor at all. What could the issue be?

Could be a lot of different things. Battery have a full charge ? Are all the contacts tight ? What happens if you take out the cotton and do a dry burn with the coils ? Do they glow red from the inside out ? Do you have anything to check the ohms of the build ? Need a little more info. Maybe take it to the local vape shop and let them take a look.
