So I bought the herkles sub tank about a week ago and after vaping continuisly I changed the .6 ohm coil that the guy I bought it from put in it at the shop to the .2 ohm coil that came in the box and now my vape won't hit worth a crap anymore and I can't figure out why! I have to draw in HARD and longer than before and it puts out almost no vape production and almost no flavir and is extremely harsh to hit! I love this tank but I really don't know what happened  I'm going up to the shop after work today to see if they can help bit can anyone here help me?! Also I don't use temp control only the wattage settings I vape at about 32-35 but even at 50+ it's a harsh and extremely hot vape with only a slight improvement to flavor but not to production and it's eating my juice at 2x the normal rate (I can have a full tank last till I get home from a 10hr shift vaping it for a total of about 1 1/2 hours of chain vaping over my breaks and the ride home) but it's only 12pm and I had a full tank before I left at 5am this morning! Can anyone help!?
Thanks in advance!

What mod are you running, and is it in TC mode? The .2 coil is a Ni200 for use with a TC capable mod. It won't work right in power mode.

Yea someone on another forum told me ealier and that's it I didn't relize they gave you both when I bought the tank! Thanks for your reply! That fixed my issue though I like power mode better as this is a warm vape vs a cooler vape with a watt coil!

You can adjust the temperature to get a vape that's satisfying to you, it just takes a little playing around with. I use TC exclusively on my IPV3Li. I don't like a real hot vape, and run around 30 Joules at 450-480 F.

Glad you got it back the way you liked it. BTW, you can also use Atlantis coils in the Herakles. I actually prefer them over the Herakles coils.

Another thing to watch for is hot spots and arching from coil to screen! Burnt a few coils prematurly that way and now run them without the screen. .2 coils are alot weaker as well. Looser wraps, less surface area against cotton. They should have used thicker wire and wider bore imo for use on mech.

I run my hydra at about 530 in TC mode. Works pretty dang well.

Try running the .4 Aspire Triton coil. Made a huge difference in my Herakles. Better airflow and great flavor.

Congratulations, TheRenegadeBiker! I have a few Herakles tanks & prefer them over the many others I've tried. I'll bet you get to love it and leaks are a thing of the past.

BTW, if you get into TC with the Herk, you'll also never have to deal with a dry hit; you can vape 'em to the last drop. This is also a bonus when going from one e-liquid to another as the transition from one flavor to another is shortened.

What is the Herakles like to vape with an Atlantis 0.3? The Atlantis V2 with 0.3 and the Herakles with 0.6 are polar opposites. Atlantis cool vape with soft flavor, Herk very warm vape with intense flavor. Not sure how much is due to coil vs the rest of the tank? Happy medium would be nice.
