Hey guys kinda new to vaping and have a question with my setup

Ok been vaping for like a month and i love it. I have a Yihi SX mini ML class that goes up to 75 watts. My tank in the uwell crown. Here is where my question come in:

I am in to vaping more for the taste and not into cloud chasing. Am I better off with a .5 which is what I run now at 45-50 watts or a 1.2 at like 20-25 watts for full robust flavor? What is the difference between the .5 and the 1.2? PLease explai. And do I save on battery power using 1.2 because I am using less watts? Thanks all.

A basic breakdown is, the LOWER the ohms the MORE vapor it produces. So yes, a lower ohm coil produces more vapor and with vapor, comes more flavor.

It really depends on which you like better -- there might be more vapor with lower resistance, but there's also more heat, and some don't like that. I personally vape at 2+ ohms and 10 watts, because that's what I find "best" -- figure out which you like better, and use that!

ETA -- the more heat you use and vapor you produce, the faster you'll go thru your ejuice. And the lower the resistance, the faster you'll use up your battery.

haha. I'm sorry, I just came across this and the two responses you have so far are from both side.
its like asking whats better ford or chevy.
In my opinion, you have to try both to see what you like. Both have their points, and neither are wrong.

essentially, the higher the resistance, the tighter the draw and the more of a mouth to lung inhale. The lower the resistance the more of a direct lung hit.
The direct lung hit, is more vapor passing through your mouth hole. The mouth to lung is more vapor remaining in your mouth hole because you inhale it closer to how you did a cigarette.

I enjoy both, in one hand I have a tank with a 1.5ohm build in it at 13w, because my peanut butter juice taste better that way to me
in my other hand I have a a 0.2 ohm build in an rda at 80w because I prefer my apple pie that way.

I'm sorry that there is no right or wrong answer, the only good advice I can think of is, to try it, unless you prefer the direct lung vaping.

I love my Crown tanks, and find I get the best flavor from the 0.25, next best 0.5. To me the 1.2 is no better than a Kanger Subtank! But the best way to figure this out is to see which you prefer. And, yes, your battery will last the longest with the 1.2 ohm coil at the wattage you're running, and you'll go through less juice. But the flavor will be less (to my mind, in any event)!

I gotta agree with them all lol. Truth is all are dead on. Why? Because taste buds, smoking preference, and usage. Try to think of it as your favorite dish. You make it the way you like it. Do the same with vaping. Try all coils I have. Facts are less wattage longer battery life. Higher wattage more vapor meaning more juice used. Now Experiment and find what you like. My favorite tank is the crown. I prefer ni200 coils at 390 degrees 50w. Just my preference.

Everyone that's posted is spot on. It all depends on what you like for that particular juice.

I've got 2 mods going at the moment. One is a .57ohm SS316 coil in a KF4, running temp control at 450°F @ 20w. It's strictly a mouth-to-lung vape, and is my all day/every day setup. The other is .9ohm cCell Kanthal coil in a Triton, running at 30w. This one is totally a direct lung setup. Kind of opposite of what the general rule-of-thumb dictates.

At the end of the day, you've got to experiment a bit to find what you like best!

All I know is that an SX Mini and a Crown tank is a fantastic starter kit. Beats my Joyetech Ego T kit for sure...:).
