hey guys what's up, figured I'd join group and start getting some feed back on things that I've done and things I plan on doing in the future. so this is what I'm working with, I currently vape on kangertech subox mini and I love using the rba on it, playing with different coil builds and modding the tank to fit my needs. So far I've sanded and polished the tank(was white) just for looks, opened up both of the smaller air holes( I forget the sizes now) to where the smallest is now the diameter of what the middle was and the middle is now the diameter of what the large vent is, I then tried to open up the larger vent with little luck as I kept breaking drill bits. The next thing that I decided to do was open up the drip feed by 2mm to avoid dry hits. Today I put in dual 28g kanthol nano coils in with approx 8-10 wraps each and I'm sitting at .8/9 ohms. The flavor is good and the clouds are decent.

I have not used the rba yet, and someone told me that it`s a little harder to draw on because of the small feed holes.
I figured to do like you have done and drill them out a little larger if I don`t like it.

Personally I find the rba to work better then the prebuilt coils you can buy for it. From what I've learned it's all about how you set up. Vertical coil builds give the easiest draw but is also harder to wick, too much cotton will give dry hits and too little floods it. I think the next thing that in going to to do is open up the air holes on the bottom of my rba to see if that will do anything

Oh, I thought that is one of the modifications you made to the air holes on the bottom of the rba.

Thank you, I just went into my garage and carefully opened up the holes just now, it helps some but I don't think it's that great of a difference with the build I have now, my coils are the primary restricting factor for me at the moment with how tight they are on the deck

I did, I spent roughly 5-6 hours sanding it down by hand and getting most of the imperfections out of it, if your starting with a new mod it won't take as long as it did for me, I started with a dremmel and that's what gave me most of my headache when it started gouging the surface of the mod. Once I noticed that I grabbed some 300 grit paper and sanded the rest by hand taking out all of the gouges the dremmel made. Following the 300 grit I used 400, and finished with 1500 before polishing it. I'm not quite done with yet I want to go back over it with 300 to take out some of the new imperfections and then finish it with a finer grit paper maybe 3000 grit or something like that. I also sanded down the buttons on the mod so I wouldn't have any misfires in my pocket and so that my settings wouldn't get changed.

Arnt you worried if you sand down to far you'll hit the Zink core (kinda like a penny)

I'm not too worried about that, or even sure if it's true that it has a zinc core. But if it happens to have one and I do finally scratch that surface I'll just take the time to repaint the mod or sand all of it to match. It's hard to tell from the pictures but on the mod I re shaped the groove where the firing button sits so that it flows on the mod better and didn't notice a difference. I'm just taking the time to have fun with the tank and mod, if I break it in the process it'll be time to upgrade
