Hi everybody!
I just got into vaping about 3 weeks ago, and I'm really enjoying it so far.
I was exposed to e-cigarettes in the past- about 3 years ago I was given one of those disposable e-cig devices from a friend. I puffed on it until the cartridge was empty, and pretty much threw it all away and never thought much about it. Even when some friends of mine in my National Guard unit started vaping, I kind of ignored it as well- they all spoke this weird language that sounded very technical and elitist.
So about 3 weeks ago I headed to my local vapor shop and decided to spend money without really researching what I wanted first. My logic was that until I started vaping, I wouldn't know what direction I wanted to go. I ended up getting an iCuboid Mini and a Aspire Natilus X tank along with a few different e-liquids (I hate saying "e-juices", it sounds as bad as if I was calling it "e-fluids").
I feel the guy at the vape shop couldn't really explain to me how to get started into the world of vaping, hence this kind of mismatched purchase. The iCuboid seems like it works fine, was inexpensive, battery life is good and it has a lot of options, but it just isn't well suited for the tank that he sold to me (aka I can't use the temperature control mode with it).
Their shop also only sells house juices, which so far are kind of hit or miss. But they are cheap, and have a great rewards program and military discount, so they will still get my business here and there.
I'm thinking my next purchase will be a Pioneer Pure iPX6x along with the Pure X2 coil-less tank, but I'll wait and see. I'd rather not go running to eBay just yet to unload my iCuboid Mini as I love the size and form factor of it. I just don't want to end up buying 10 box mods lol.
Anyway, if you've made it to the end of all this, I wanted to again say "hello" and I look forward to being an active part of the greater vaping community and this forum (no more lurking! ).
