This one sounds really good. Does it have that fried-donut kind of flavor? I've only ever experienced that effect in one juice (a "Spanish Donut" that I fell in love with) and have been trying to get around to working on something like it, but I may take the shortcut via gumroad!

My only hesitation about buying recipes lies with the possibility I might not have all the flavors to make it. I know everyone has the same issue: the never-ending need to buy more. But I really am trying to work with what I have for now--to stop the compulsive flavor-buying.

I think part of DIYing is the 'compulsive flavor buying' until you have a whole bunch. I find now that I buy much less than I did a year ago. But as I said in another thread, you can buy little sample bottles from http://mamajsjuice.com/ so it's not such a big investment as it might be if you were buying bigger bottles.

You get us hooked on your recipes for free and now...that's just it...I'm hooked. After many days of enjoyment...holy moly!!! I love, love, love the Lemon Torrone, Applejack Rabbit, and the Italian Soda...holy guacamole!!! How in the heck do you do it? Your mixes are so smooth. I usually love tobaccos, but I've been vaping those three straight for a week now. I'm not great at reviews, so all I can say is thank you Hic! Like many here, you made diy easy and totally freaken awesome. After a few more days and brains, I'll add details and go on about my new love for Chinese Almond Cookies, Spumoni, and Rasp-Choc Torte.

Just mixed the blueberry coconut smoothie. I'm not really a fan of blueberry but I have a friend who just quit smoking that wanted a blueberry vape so I figured I can't go wrong with a recipe from HIC. Of course I had to test it and I'm enjoying it. It's an excellent combination of flavors. The blueberry is sweet and not in your face. I vape with a reo and an rda. Friend uses a nautilus aspire. I'm wondering if I should increase the flavoring too account for a possible muting of flavoring with his device as opposed to an rda.

Though I haven't used a nautilus, I can share my experience using a Protank 2 and a mini Protank 2. As written, It's the bomb! I'm using a 2.2 to 2.5 ohm coil.

Just mixed the Chinese almond cookie recipe. Unbelievably accurate. Amazing job HIC. 3 dollars for a recipe that vendors would be charging at least 50 cents a ml for. And who knows what they would be mixing in it. Diketone free, delicious, and inexpensive. What more can I ask? Except keep them coming.

New today at HIC's Mixes : Cinnamon Dolce Latte


Extra sweet, cinnamon-sugar latte! The recipe tells how to make your latte with either brown-sugar cinnamon (like Starbucks uses) or white-sugar cinnamon (like cinnamon toast) -- or both, if you have an insatiable sweet tooth. The coffee is a buttery caramel-vanilla, but cinnamon-sugar is the real star here. It uses FA flavors plus optional TFA Brown Sugar. No sweeteners are used, but WOW this is sweet!

Their document says: "Currently, the app is officially supported on all iPhone and iPod touch models running iOS7 and above - not iPads."

The iPhone and iPod library capability is a new app; I don't know if iPads are on their to-do list or not.

I have had the pleasure to mix up the following HIC recipes and am pleased to offer my thoughts:

Quickberry Pink. Love this one and have had the same experiences as most do. This is a great after dinner vape. You get the pink creamy milky vape off of this one. Def a keeper.

Strawberry Mocha Frappy. OMG I love this one. The Tiramisu brings out that Starbucks coffee flavor with no bitter aftertaste. Since I love coffee this could easily be a ADV IMO. 30 ml didnt last but 3 days for me in my current rotation. Going to try the chocolate drizzle version this weekend.

Grapeade. Ok since I love grape, I decided to go with the higher percentage of grape. Although this is very good, I think dropping the grape down would be an outstanding vape experience. I thought the grape was a bit bitty at the high end. On a separate note, HIC recommended Purple Cow that is available publicly. All I can say about that is OMFG is that delicious. If I take a short pull on my vape, I get a Grape crush type of vape. Very nice. If I take a long drawn out drag, then I get a grape creamy slice of heaven. This is divine in my opinion...

In my mixing arsenal for the weekend:

English Allsorts, Chinese Almond Cookie, Lemon Cream Cookies, Holy Frappe (for the cookies, ya know), Gingerbread!

I'll review as I get to them. I'm SO super excited to try the English Allsorts. I'm excited about all of them, but you know that has to be good!

I did a bunch of mixing, but ran low on bottles. I did make several, but didn't get to make all of them that I listed... yet.

Gingerbread. Fresh baked, sweet and creamy, with the perfect amount of spice. Not at all heavy. I thought this would remind me of the lattes and such around the holidays that most of us got to enjoy. It's different than those, not as heavy (and those were great!) and I'm really enjoying this.

I counted up 9 of HIC's Mixes that I have. When I was buying pre-made juices, that price would've lasted me 2 weeks (at most!), then I'd have to spend that again for the next 2. These are a steal and will last me forever.

I'll review more later in the day as I have empty tanks. I'm going to go savor some Gingerbread now.

Tested so far:
Lemon Torrone Parfait:
Once mixed up I thought "well here we go again with the cookies and such" as a quick sniff reminded me of Italian lemon cookies I had once upon a time in Sardinia, Italy. Steeped overnight, how wrong I was. It's good, it's very good! There's a slight reminder of that cookie, but oh, the sweet lemony niceness! Score!

Watermelon Juice:
Sweet, nice, fresh. Probably will be a summertime hit. I know that HIC isn't that keen on menthol, but I added some and the slight coolness on the exhale complements this nicely. Again, score!

Grapeade:
Just after mix I took a sniff again, and then just had to taste some. Yeah, I actually licked a drop. Boom, homerun! It's excellent as a vape too! This is exactly what I was after, a perfect fruit drink vape! Bloody hell (as the British say), it's JUST THAT GOOD!

As a side note, these juices are very prone to vanishing, the sample size for me now is 30ml and the Grapeade is on second batch already. Tested them on Delta 2, which is a thirsty bugger anyway but I can't leave home without a bottle anymore. Have to be careful with dry hits, as I seem to vacuum the tanks empty without noticing.

I just gave this one a shot. Conrats Hic. Its rare that I dont enjoy your mixes and this one did not dissapoint. Its a perfect blend of ingredients for a home-made Bannana pudding. Very good balance.

HIC, you should re-name that pudding, "Banana's Revenge". You did FA a huge favor (flavor?) on that one. For the last year I have NOT had success with Banana. Walnut wouldn't help it, creams, vanillas, a torch, nothing. This was banana's last chance with me.

I vaped banana pudding AND liked it. Un-believable. You saved it from the drain.

I have more stuff to review, but had to let you know about this one soon.

I mixed my first two yesterday: Italian Lemon Cream Soda and Orange Soda. Both are delicious, but I keep getting drawn back to the Italian Soda. It's the spice note that haunts me. For the time being I have dedicated a mod and atty to it so it's always ready when I want it.

Will be going back for more recipes post haste. HIC is two for two in my book, which is way better than, say, the one for five with my own creations.

Oh Huck, I so thought of you when I seen that lemon cookie! Haven't gotten that one yet. I'm sick so I shouldn't say more, but I've got the Dulce de Leche Churros in my nautilus now and Holy Moley!! People came over yesterday and were in love with HICs Snickerdoodles, and they were good, but this one here tastes just like those rich creamy buttery cinnamon sugared Churros! I've never been so blissful when I was sick before! IMHO this one is the best vape I've ever tasted! I'm in love/lust with Dulce de Leche Churros!!
