HIC's Toucan Cereal

I started looking into a few of HIC's recipes and found his Toucan Cereal. I've been looking for a good cereal vape (in addition to Jacksters Cereal Killa). HIC gets good reviews, so I went with it. However, after 5 days of steeping, it doesn't taste anything like cereal. In fact, it tastes like Sprite, but with a little more lime. Has anyone else tried this recipe and gotten different results? If so, other than taking out the Lime distilled, any ideas on what could adjust the flavor

I tried it also because all the hype he gets from his recipes. Was not impressed with it or the sweet tart recipe. Then again the only decent fruit loop flavor I ever tried was looper and even I had small issues with that flavor.

You 'get it' Elites. We need more respectful members like yourself as there are noobs who just bust in here with arrogance and the pretense of vast knowledge, They're legends; just ask 'em. All are welcomed equally, of course, but some are ore welcomed than others after they post a few times.

I've been vaping a while but only mixing juice (with modest success) for a year or so and have learned so much from many members here and at ECF prior to the exodus. This is a great place made even better by good people.

I love this place and the members here, everyone is so helpful! I haven't ventured out of the DIY-Eliquid forum section though, hahaha. This is the only place that gets my attention.

I made both his cereal recipes on the store and didn't like either. Didn't taste anything like cereal. But I did get a few I had enjoyed.

All recipes will taste differently to everybody.
Everybody has flavors that seem to stand out for them, either they are more sensitive to them, or just can't stand them so notice them more.
Could leave it out completely, or just try it at a fraction of the percentage.

I love desert mixes, but I find *any* mix with FA Catalan Cream horrible.
It ends up being the only thing I can taste in the mix, even weeks and months later. But if I exclude it, the mixes can be pretty good.
