Im new to vaping. I am not a former smoker, i just like the taste of vapor and the experience of creating clouds. Obviously i am interested in 0mg nicotine becuase of that. I am not interested in sub ohming, but using coils 1.6 ohms and above. Can I get some guidance as to where to find the BEST vaporizer with these specs. I have used vaporizers before.

Check out the Aspire Zelos kit. I just got my hands on one and I'm really enjoying it. Comes with a Nautilus 2 tank. I'll be posting a full review soon.

Welcome..
Are you interested only in factory made coils or for the sake of better flavor and cloud, would you be interested in a hand wrapped coil (either by yourself, or purchased). The difference is.. one you throw away, the other you remove the cotton, clean the coil, put in new cotton and vape away.

ohms and sub-ohms are merely terms we use to describe coils as being either greater than 1 ohm resistance or below 1 ohm resistance. It is more of a factor we use to tune performance.

1.6 ohm and higher coils are being phased out and are becoming harder to find.

This is maybe a bit more info that you were looking for, but if you are going to vape for flavor and cloud, you should know more about how it all works.
Many devices are now made for factory made coils in the 0.30 to 0.50 range (some may be even lower) which give more flavor and cloud than the higher resistance coils. The difference is roughly like smelling a glass of orange juice or actually tasting the orange juice.

The main thing is that nobody in this forum will tell you to do anything unsafe.

Since Im relatively a beginner, factor made. I know that everyone is safe in here, which is why i trust this forum over news articles, what not. thank you. So again, just looking for the highest ohm possible, as i heard sub ohms are bad for you, or should i say not recommended for beginners. I want to taste as much of the flavor as possible with as big of a cloud as possible. and as much resistance as possible. Does that all make sense?

Who told you that, and did they say why? I'm a beginner still and all I use are subohm tanks, and I haven't smoked in several decades.

I was researching sub ohms on a page and they said it was very dangerous if you didn't know what you were doing or didn't have much vaping experience. again, i could be wrong and i trust real people (like on this forum) over websites

Nope, subohm tanks aren't dangerous in and of themselves. They might have been referring to using them on mech mods or something. Mech mods (or unregulated) are dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. But a subohm tank on a regulated mod is very safe. I've even started building my own coils for my tanks.

Thank you for clarifying, i just reread the article on vaping360 and yes regulated subohming is fine. how do i find the best regulated mods?

There is no "best" in vaping. It's highly individual and what you prefer. For tanks, the Smok Baby Beast tanks are very good and very popular. Hard to go wrong with them. Aspire Cleito tank is also very good. As far as mods, Smok Alien and various Wismecs are popular and good. Depends on what kind of price range you're looking for, what size, how many batteries, etc.

Factory coils are premade and are already wicked with cotton. If a tank is listed as an rba, rtba or rta, it's a rebuildable and you'll need to either buy or build your own coils and wick them yourself.

Do you have a vape shop anywhere near you? What have you been using?

Personally, one of my first tanks was a kanger toptank mini. Which I still use. Its the only tank atomizer i own. lol.
Main thing, you will probably want a mod that has a removable rechargeable battery.. So YOU pick the safest battery and have one in the mod, and a 2nd charging, and swap them out when one gets low. I use Kanger as an example, since it is the one I use and know, other may have other recommendations, probably just as good.
Main thins is enjoy your vaping and vape safely.
