The disc-based version of Hitman - originally scheduled for this year - will now release in January 2017.
It was announced early this year that Square Enix was previously courting a late 2016 release date for its full physical version of the episodic game. No reasoning for the delay has been given at the time of writing.
The first episode of Hitman, Paris, releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow, March 11. Episode 2, Sapienza, arrives in April. And after that, Episode 3 Marrakesh is out in May, before trotting off to Thailand, the United States, and finally, Japan
For those looking to go digital, there are several buying options available. The Intro Pack, which contains both the prologue and Paris costs $15 – and then extra locales cost $10 a pop. If you’re looking to upgrade having bought a map pack previously, there’s the Upgrade Pack for $50. Or, if you want everything on offer, the Full Experience is $60.
