I could see them taking off like Pokemon with people having them hanging from their rear views, on their work desks, kids swapping them, special edition Golden ones going for thou's on eBay. Even TV shows doing stories on the new craze sweeping the world. The Beardies. Get carving!
Will have some sore hands but it's worth a shot. Lol

Clearly, my hobby is fast horses. We breed, raise, train and compete. Used to race on the track, now my wife does rodeo and speed events at horse shows. She was/is 2019 AQHA Select World Champion in the stakes race. We had a new baby colt born yesterday.

I'm also into old school audio, meaning two channel stereo. I built two unique subwoofers powered by a 1000 watt amp @Jinx'd and a pair of main speakers. I may post links to build threads on another forum if anyone wants to check 'em out, when I have time to find them.

Next would be archery hunting. I spend a full month in the mountains, not neccisarily killing anything.

That sounds so amazing! I always loved horses! And building sub woofers is pretty cool!
I’ve always wanted to get into archery too

Got some of Mr Meowgi's hobby action today :)

I fucked up his tail feathers though. When using acrylic paint it's water-based and add a touch of water to thin it out. I forgot to put superglue before painting. So the feathers are drawn back up.

Looks great to me! :)

The tail feathers really make the piece - and I don't see anything wrong with it at all

In fact, it has inspired me to turn our chicken coop in the making into an art house :)

porn. wait does watching porn count as a hobbie? me and few girls would watch porn together, strictly just watch porn. nothing else afterwards, we just want like a movie, and thats it. we dont do anything while we watch, not even to ourselfs. sadly a lot of my friends say that im just a waste watching porn with girls and nothing happens.

truth is, im hoping something nice would happen during or after we watch. but nope, im terrible at making happy endings.

Done for today. IPhone on the right, android on the left. It really just depends on what case you have already on the phone. Still gotta work on the androids and ordered some little Keychain things to go on them.

I think I like just finishing these with boiled linseed oil rather than painting. But can still be painted and I do have to put eyes on them. But kinda classic.

I guess it depends on what someone would want.

They’re like cute owl chess pieces. They look nice oiled, actually. You’re getting really good at carving! <3

Those are really cool. They look good without the paint. You do good with the carving knives! Well, when you're not carving your finger that is....

Yea I definitely learned from that experience. It was more expensive than you'd think for a needle and fishing wire. The numbing I guess is where it's at though. Would've needed a lot of booze to stitch myself I would think. Yikes

But thanks man I appreciate it. Just got a couple dremel so I'm gonna try my hand at some other thing too. Hope the work as well as the owls.

That cut on your finger made my stomach drop when I saw the pictures.

Made this spatula/scoop? Today. Compiled with my dremel and a new wood bit I got the other day. Wanted to see the time difference in how long it takes versus hand carved with a knife. Started at 6:16pm.done in less than 2 hours with mineral oil. By hand I'd still be knifing.

Not bad at all but I feel like I'm cheating. I still like the hand carved aspect but if I was to sell these I feel like the dremel would be the way to go.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the compliments I've received . This is a really fun and relaxing hobby. I wasn't sure how it would work out in the beginning but I love it. I'm sure my wife was worried too because with most things I jump in full force. But it's worked out great so far minus a few stitches one time. Lol selling my first piece this am was definitely nice even if it's only lunch money for a few days. Definitely rewarding for the feedback. Thank you

Well, when I had money, I use to be into woodworking. When I lost my job, had to sell everything.

Did you oil part of that and paint the face and feathers on? It’s very cute, and I hope Mrs. Boss loves it.

I completely understand man. It's a hard hit to have to give up something you enjoy to pay bills
