Not sure which to get. I know there is a decent price gap between the two which isn't an issue. Any opinions? Kinda leaning toward the hohm wrecker g2 as I haven't seen many people with it.
There are some guys in here with Hohm Wreckers, and I don't have either of those devices, but if you are dead set on those two my gut says Wrecker. Not sure which to get. I don't think so. Most two 18650 mods don't/can't do a true 200 watts. Most will pulse above 150 watts. Those that don't will be limited by the amp draw (max current input) as the batteries lose their charge (as the voltage drops). What batteries are you planning on using?I was kind of leaning toward the hohm wrecker myself but it says its only 151watts. Is there gonna be much difference between that and a 200 watt mod?
The Snow Wolf actually fires to 150W with a Flat Signal, after 150-200 it fires with PWM, I never go over 150w either way...Its a great mod and can fire down to .05 Ohms in Power Mode and had Temp control up to 70W. Its elegant and one of the bag for bucks mods that have a feel of quality and craftsmanship,I was kind of leaning toward the hohm wrecker myself but it says its only 151watts. Is there gonna be much difference between that and a 200 watt mod?
I wouldnt trust Sonys unless they are from Liionwholesale.com and I would stick to Samsung 25Rs and LG HE2/4's or HB6'sNot to sure as to which batteries yet. Think some trustfires or efest 40amps. Lol just kidding. Probably either LGS or Sony's though.
Lol it wont fire that low, maybe .07 but the 2 are very similar in specs, its just a preference of the appearance and size/wieght.The he4s are what I currently use in my evic mini so I may just stick with them then. Would there be much to gain with the hohm wrecker being able to fire down to .007 ohm?
No clue...If you built that low I wouldnt want to be in the vicinity of that mod....The lowest Ive built and was for the purpose of that only was .06 Ohms and that was hotter then anything Ive tried before it. Most mods go down to .08-.15, the SW does down to .05, the Xcube down to .08 and most people use this as headroom for the future.Gotcha, why would they list the resistance range as .007-3 ?
I just googled it and the 3 different sites I checked said resistance range is .05-3 ohms. Here's a cut and paste from one of them:

I have the Mini and there isnt anything that I could think of besides SS TC that I would want out of it...I haven't bought a Snow Wolf v1.5 just for that reason. My brother gave me a V1 a while ago so decided to wait and save up, since that's only way i can buy the $65+ mods lol.
Also personally i use my black X Cube 2 way more than the SnowWolf. I love it. Love the way my black crown tank looks on it and haven't had a single issue with it in over 2 months of use(knock on wood).
