It is sad really sad but Hohm Tech is an amazing company and so is VaporCube.com I sent them an email they next day I had a form I had to fill out and an address where to send it the only thing I wasn't crazy about but get why it's done was paying 8$ threw PayPal for an age verification form. But it got there Saturday so hopefully I'll hear something this week. This was the most expensive mod I bought besides my custom made DNA200 and I'd buy another that's how much I love it.

8 bucks for a form sounds like a different type off charge. Did you have to pay for shipping too, or was the 8 bucks essentially a shipping label fee?

It was to pay for an age verification the form I had to fill out was something completely different. but I think it's their way of getting shipping paid for and make sure I'm older than 18. On another note they got my old one Saturday and they already shipped me a new one today. Like I said they're a great company.

Sounds like a smooth enough process. Customer service is something that sometimes is lacking in vape related stuff.

There was a new update (2.5.2) released today. It seems to have added some new features. No description yet as to what the new features are. But XXX temp mode has changed and a new "W" was added in TC mode. I am not sure what that is as of yet.

Updates include: 1. Tungsten embedded in ceramic TC mode (labeled as 'W'). 2. Vape Porn Mode now called "Advanced TC Mode" 3. XXX now referred to as xXx

And thank you for all of your advice and help @raymo2u. I'm sure you know you're the reason I have a G2 and TM squared. I wouldn't trade either one. May have to sell more stuff to get a back up. And you know I just got that efusion duo yesterday. Just not the same

I will also mention that I had a hard time updating it. I don't own a PC, I just use my iPad. I borrowed my daughters laptop and could not get it to work. Had to borrow my sons like I did for the first one. It worked on his for some reason. On the second one, I updated each version one by one, as when doing the first one I skipped to the latest version and it froze up half way through updating.

@raymo2u, is there a version for Windows 10? That's the only version they sell pre-installed on the new laptops and tablets these days.

Yes the original software was designed for use on WIN10....thats why I refitted it so it would work on everything else...

I love the abilities of my g2. I will be getting an hohm slice when they drop. I want that pocket size power and TC abilities.

If you've ever smoked a pack of 100's and carried them then the G2 shouldnt me much of an issue to carry unless your tank it crazy big....Its only a few millimeters bigger then a pack of 100's, but I understand that something smaller will be better for mobility

Just got my G2 -carrot red:confused:- today. I checked the authenticity code and it is legit. My understanding was they're designed and made in California. The label on the box is marked as assembled in China....WTF?

Well, it took me a month (and another RX200) to decide. I just got my G2 and while still trying to figure my way around all these choices for TC, I can see that I will like it! Reading the posts from you guys is helping a lot, thank you all!

They are design in california and assembled in china.

Well, that kinda sucks! Their page is misleading, they state the G2 is designed and made in California. They took a page from the Vape Forward book, the only difference is that they use a proprietary chip. Nonetheless, I like the mod I just have to figure it out. ...I hate a mod smarter than me.

Ben from Hohm Tech has always said its made in china but its design by multiple places in California....maybe the people that created the site didnt care enough to put that on there...
