hohmwreck g2 battery door issue

Does anyone else's g2 battery door not sit flush and have a wobble? If so how did you go about fixing it?

Mine did once, but after moving the battery ribbon, and making sure it was flat against the batteries it solved the problem. I know there were a few others who had this issue, and almost always it was the ribbon causing it. Just make sure it's flat and not twisted anywhere and laying straight across the back of batteries as possible and it should let the door close flush. Worst case, you could replace the ribbon with a thinner one, or remove it completely.

Yes it is likely the ribbon. Make sure it is flat when you put the batteries in. When I put the door on I lay the excess ribbon along the side so it's not between the battery and the door.

Those damn ribbons.... Ugh. I see where they maybe useful but ugh. I don't have that mod but I do have a walmart cheapo camera and it has the ribbon in the battery bay...
