Hey guys.

I want a coffee flavour liquid but all of the ones I've had taste like crap and nothing like what I wanted.

Is there anyway to transfer my normal cuppa (milk and sugar included) to be able to mix a concentrate?

Thanks

You don't want to use milk and sugar in an extract.

Moving to DIY General Discussion since it's not a How-to Tutorial.

Don't know how much this will actually help, but the bf had a mix of flagermus (Danish wine gum which is basically a mix of sweet licorice and mixed fruit flavors), an extra dose of a fruit cocktail, and a crappy maple syrup ejuice and the flavor was spot on coffee (with cream and sugar). It was creepy how spot on it was.
I think a lot of that had to do with the bad imitation maple syrup flavoring in the ejuice. It had a much more coffeeish flavor to it.
If I can figure out a more precise recipe, I'll let you know :)

What is the flavors and brands you're using? At what percentages?

Percentages I really couldn't tell you because it was a random "let's see how this tastes with what I already have in my tank" moment, but brands - Flagermus: a local brand called Dolfus Damp. The other two are from joosejuice.com. Stupidly cheap juice, and quality to match

Sorry, the questions were for @NobleExcalibur, since it's about DIY juice.

Cheers for the replies. Sorry it's took a while, I forgot I posted until I thought how cool it would be to make some with my new beans I got today haha

I have been using whatever I can get from my local shop, tbh I am worried about buying them online as if I don't like them then it's pretty much in the bin for them.

How would I go about making a concentrate with these new beans I've got then?

They are whole bean but I will be grinding them soon.

Tbh I will need a pretty much full walk through, just using these beans, no milk or sugar then haha

Oh and if it makes a difference, I am using an evic vt which is straight to lung, I'm not sure if it matters or not but you never know :)

I recommend getting flavors made by Flavour Art (FA), due to the concentration, you won't need a lot. These are flavors that taste like the real thing. For your purpose, I'd get the FA Coffee Espresso (Dark Bean) and the FA Fresh Cream. As sweetener, I usually use Sucralose. The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) makes that one. For a plain cup of creamed coffee, try 1-2% FA Coffee Espresso and 2% FA Fresh Cream.
The FA flavors are available in 10ml.

Ok, but how do I make my own? I've got the coffee beans and a fair bit of pg, apparently I need to put the coffee in the pg and leave?

I would think, you would boil the PG with the Coffee in it, in order to release the flavor. Then you need to reduce the PG, in order to get your concentrate. Probably also by boiling it down. Never tried it myself though.

I've read somewhere to put ground coffee in a glass jar, cover in PG, leave it in a crock pot for hours, but I don't remember how long. Then you need to double filter. With that said, I also heard the results weren't all that great, but at least was a learning experience.

I'm with Neunerball on this one. FlavourArt makes an excellent Espresso flavor. They also have a Cappuccino flavor.

To be honest, I would buy some but money is tight and since I have plenty of coffee I thought why not?

That boiling down one sounds like the most probable option apart from I'm not sure if you would end up with a gloop like substance at the end, and the leave in pg for a hour was pretty much the same as what I saw. I may do a little bit and see what happens with each.

When I get round to it I'll let you know

You can make many extracts with PG and spices, etc .. but the one thing you have to watch out for are oils that get dissolved as well.

Most cook tips to remove oils are to cool enough to solidify the fats then remove via sieve.

Can see if it layers up or anything after cooling.

Oils aren't great to vape :D

I get that money is tight. But if you do decide to order some, Bull city vapor has Flavour art 10 ml bottles for 3.25$.
The tiramisu is a great coffee flavor, and it is super strength so the bottle will last quite a while.
