Hot rx200s

My rx200s gets warm

After about five pulls. About 2.7 seconds per puff. Maybe ten to fifteen seconds between each puff.

Firmware: 4.12
Batteries: lg hg2
Wattage: between 50 & 70
Ohm:
Tank 1 : limitless plus 0.16
Tank 2: tsunami 24 0.18
Tank 3 limitless plus 0.18
Tank 4: goon 0.23

Uncomfortably hot.
I'm not sensitive. A man's man.

I can tolerate heat.

Perhaps I'll downgrade to back to 4.10

I don't have mine handy but I was noticing the same last night. Billow V3 Plus with a .3 ohm build/43 watts. I was going through some V3 Vanilla Custard Cream at a rapid rate. Dang good stuff. It was warm but not uncomfortably hot.

It's because the wiring on the RX200 is too thin so the wires themselves get hot especially when chain vaping.

So I puffed indoors today. Didn't get hot.

I sometimes vape in my car. My car is parked in a large multi level garage.
But it's 40 Celsius outside (105f)
Probably around 30c in my car.

Yeah the heat from the atty will also pass to the mod...... With my new wiring the mod still gets warm but mostly from the modfather Vaping it at 90 watts..... The mod will be good as long as the batteries don't get hot.......

But most of the time it will be the rda or rta doing the body heat up.......And exterior temperature plays also a factor on a 100 degree summer heat, the bitch will get really hot Vaping at 80 watts plus......

Mine gets hot with 8 or 10....... 85 watt (8) second pulls...... But again try to touch the modfather and you will get burnt...... The modfather is transferring tons of heat to the mod.....

So I tried it indoors and it didn't heat up.
While it wasn't hot in the car, maybe 28c, I guess there wasn't much air flow. I did have the door open though.

I think this is a great thread.
We established that the (my) rx200s doesn't have heat issues.
And I learned that the inner wiring gauge plays a role.

I haven't had the aggressive attys you listed. But have had all the rx's and then some. Ran pretty hard after few hits got hotter than any other mod I've had. Purchased two new 2/3 ran only two batteries in both. No longer have them but they got hotter than any other one. Rx Rxs maybe its a rx thing. But have a ac window unit in bedroom and would hold mod up to catch cool air. But if yours iis getting hot enough for concern and not just asking if others do the same I stop using it have looked at.

The real sean, well I've established that it's mainly due to ambient temperature and air flow.
The warmer it is & the lower the wind, the hotter it gets.
I've tried it indoors and it's fine.

So I'm not worried about it being faulty.

If your ok with warmth it creates use it. Got rid of mine cause of 510 on them. Shame Wismec still sending them out. Never had one shut down on me but like I said the 2/3 got damn hot way more than any other. Maybe they trap heat more than most by far not cheap mod some may disagree with me. Jayboo's are like computers one out of five households have one.

Man I dont know thats out of my league. I've seen people just butcher them up and completely change the 510. Cutting out the top putting in 510 like you see on 213. Thats why I let mine go one already had one messing up on me. I thought it would have been corrected shame. Still had rx200s compared them other than the battery deal same mod. But I know people never had single problem out if them me and friend of mine have. But they are like the 213 and have a cult following.

1. Thats it never knew the name or looked it up. I just cant see myself going through the replacement on one. Shouldn't have to do it the company needed to put more thought in it just added 10 bucks to the cost. You would have the prefect non dna mod and not expensive 10 more dollars wouldn't kill it.

I have seen that done also but the board mite not like it. Probably used the wire in it not cause of cost but maybe the gauge used is what board designed for. Not everyone can solider and or like the 510 butchering up mod. At your house you cant properly ground yourself need to protect the board. Ive seen people wrap a wire around their wrist right way of doing it but sticking the other end in the ground side of a a/c outlet. Not me

Sorry the manufacturer is worried about (1) thing..... Cost...... By saving money on cheap wire, they can make hundreds of thousands in profits.....

And 2nd they don't want to build a mod that lasts 2 or 3 years .....

They want to make a mod that lasts thorough the warranty period....

Mine has thicker wire and updated to 250 watts i even installed a Varitube V2 internal spring system..... And to get her hot I have to use a dual SS316 4.5mm coil ohming at .17 (8) wraps.... At 125watts chain Vaping for 10 minutes non stop...... And she gets hot from the Modfather passing the heat......

I mean you cannot touch the fucking modfather..... That's how hot it gets.....

I see why now thats alittle much. I wouldn't be modifying shit for that nor would I never advise someone doing that shit. You need custom box made man. That thing getting hot as a firecracker csuse its not designed for all that. Yea I understand nothing is made to last forever and companies will push out crap to save a buck. Your not in business to not make money. But you by far voided any warranty that mod ever wished it had. Lol I bet it dont take long to fog up a room. Doing zero nic I assume.
