Hotwires By Chadster have an awful taste.

i just order some Hotwires by chadster and threw a 7 wrap on my Goon RDA on my Tugboat V 2.5 and although it has a good hit to it the flavor is really bad. Like you can literally taste the metal, and I've only just changed the coil this morning. Is there a reason for this? I'm pretty dissapointed at the moment and would love some feedback.

what type of wire is it? i looked and got no direct info is it NICHROME OR SOME WEIRD WIRE

I actually did research on this after I tried it and found nothing. Apparently this Chadster guy keeps it a "Secret". Which definitely doesn't make me feel any better, I bought it because I was seeing a lot of people use it online and it seemed to do well, now I'm not so sure about it.

I am reaching here but if you are getting a strange taste I bet its nichrome which has a nickel content its weird wire if this is what it is I myself cannot use it has a nasty aftertaste

This would make a lot of sense, it's definitely not something I've tasted before. I typically use kanthal myself but wanted something that I could throw on my RDA, with 7-8 wraps and not have a super slow ramp time and with ohms between the 1.8-2.5 mark

I myself use SS clapton coil or a derivative after dong more research man throw than crap in the garbage for all you know its plutonium waste
