How do you build for your parallel mech?

I have that and run parallel coils at .1 ohms. I love it but I'm not sure if it's as far as I can cloud wise. And want to know what guys have.

I guess it really depends on what batteries you're using.

I just made a framed staple coil for the first time yesterday, and it has phenomenal flavor and vapor. Using it on a Tesla Invader II with Samsung 25Rs and a TM clone atty. I usually like dual coils, but this one came in at 0.13Ω so duals would put me way past the safety limits of the 25Rs.

It doesn't get to hot for ya? That's at least 140 watts right?

No, it's great! There's enough space between the coil and the end of the chuff cap to allow it to cool down. I wouldn't put this coil in my Doge, though. Prolly burn my lips off.

I usually build from .9 to .15 to get any kind of warmth in my twisted messes. It sounds like it be hot but even on a full battery its lukewarm

I hate super hot. I always build dual coils because of that. But I'm around the same range just with parallel coils.

Some of the heat can be prevented by opening the airflow accordingly. In addition, a delrin drip tip can prevent burning your lips.
However, most of my builds are 0.3 Ohm simple dual coils. Max 60 W with my e-liquid.

Sorry what? AFAIK there's no 18650 that sustains 50A.

Samsung 25rs I think. Blue wrapper. Lowest batteries I have. In parallel. 50amps.

Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk

I have HE4 that can go to 60 amps as well. But those are all I have so I cnt go over 50 amps when I switch between them three times everyday

To get back to your original question, have you tried twisted wire, or fused clapton coils instead? They have more surface area. Therefore, they would produce more vapor, and flavor.

With two VCT4 in parallel, you can go up to 60 A. In series, you can only go up to 30 A.
Yeah duh. Parallel. Reading is fundamental. D'oh.

Just in case anyone is wondering, Samsung 25Rs are rated for 20 amp continuous, not 25 as it would seem from the name. 40 amp in parallel, obviously.

Safety first.

42 amps is fine, as long as it's within a reasonable time. 40 is max continuous. I'll attach the Samsung data sheet to this post so you can see how long you can pulse at various amps.

Umm... Dude. If you don't know what it is, you are playing Russian roulette with your face and hands. Batteries are (relatively) cheap. And much more satisfying to buy than a trip to the emergency room. Liion Wholesale is an excellent source for batteries. Very reputable, and always have the genuine product. DON'T buy batteries from eBay.

No no. I got them from theocal vape shop. Said that's what they were. I trusted them. But most have a green wrapper right ?

I don't even trust local vape shops. They can buy their 18650s from a cheap Chinese distributor, and even have a certificate of authenticity. Usually fake.

You can use http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp as a guideline. For Clapton coils, you would use the Wire Wizard instead (also on Steam Engine). However, I highly recommend getting a good Ohm meter. It's for your own safety!

A reliable source for batteries is http://liionwholesale.com.
