in an rda (magma) ?
dont vape it all in a day...
may come back to it sometime the next day or so...
when the reservoir is empty i will rinse and do a quick dry burn, use a paper towel to dry it off and wipe it down...
is this right, or should i be doing something different?
thanks in advance

Most e-juice is like wine... The older it gets, the better it gets. The exception to this is that nicotine breaks down with oxygen and light. So, your nic levels will get lower, but your flavors will blend better. Good enough answer? ;)

Most juice is good at room temperature for a year at least, so a few days is not an issue. I remove the wicks in my RDAs when I need to dry burn the coils, do it and then rinse the RDA. For me that happens about every 15 ml of juice, but it depends on the juice. Most of my favorites are dark and gunk my coils fairly quickly. If you use clean juices you could go 80 ml or more between cleanings.

The other day, I experienced something odd : I picked up a mod I hardly ever use anymore (an eVic with a Smok Dripper RDA). I vaped 3 times out of it without recharging the atty - so it was the juice that had been lying in the atty for at least 3 weeks. The vape tasted funny the first time, but okay afterward. But what happened is, the coil stopped working: I inspected it, and it was all corroded. The Kanthal wire had let itself go, yet I had left the coil almost new. I assume it happened because my DIY juices contain a lot of water, and more importantly, salt.

Also, I keep an eGo passthrough and a clearo in my van. But I don't drive much. So sometimes it can be 2 or 3 months between vapes (yes, I really don't drive that much). Each time I restart the engine and take a puff, the first one tastes kind of flat, but the subsequent puffs are fine.

I suspect the salt is causing corrosion Giraut. I use 4% distilled water to thin my juices and my coils can last a month. They would last longer I think but I dry burn them every day or two.

I've never used salt in my DIY. Do you do that for flavor or something else? How much do you use?
