Reminds me of an old school genny. ALMOST looks like there's a hole in front of one of the posts, hard to tell.
@chasingclouds93 can you post a pic of the top view?
it appears to be a dual coil genny with a fill hole..what is the name of the atty?usually built with two stainless steel mesh vertical wicks.dual coil gennys are a pain in the ass for even experinced genny users for a newbie they'f be maddening....there is no reason you are forced to us both wick holes, if you want you could just use one of the wickholes and leave the other one alone....however unless there is a fill screw for one of the wickholes it appears to be for the exclusive use of dual wicks...or for making "U" wicks..regardless it is a queer looking duck and if it is a genny I'd suspect its one of the first incarnations or some chinese atty.it is very odd that the negative leads are trapped so far from the base of the deck.also it seems the groove in the center post should run in the same line as the wickholes and not perpendicular to them. The screw comes off and this is whats under it.View attachment 61159
where did you get that picture? if those are ceramic wicks the only white ceramic wick I know of is the BD 13 which only a few people every had acssess to, or they are homemade wicks.....though I recently came across somebody selling a white ceramic wick recently...![]()
not the best but gives you an idea of how it should look if a genny rdta
bd13 is exactly what that is http://www.head-fi.org/t/664515/vape-fi/1590#post_12126947where did you get that picture? if those are ceramic wicks the only white ceramic wick I know of is the BD 13 which only a few people every had acssess to, or they are homemade wicks.....though I recently came across somebody selling a white ceramic wick recently...
yeah gennys as a rule are a MTL vape there are some exceptions like the Origenny, or the kraken, but as a rule they are not a sub ohm set up...I usually vape a modified single coil genny at about .75-.8 but it for stock gennys a lot of people vape them .1-1.2 so with a dual coil genny you can half that......if you can get the airflow.Messed around with it for a few hours. Got it figured! I was using 24g wire and apparently that was too much so instead I used 28g and it works like a charm! Gonna take some practice but that's what this hobby is about haha thanks guys!
I was lucky enough to be one of the beta testers for that wick...it's a great wick unfortunately the guy who made them never went into mass productionbd13 is exactly what that is http://www.head-fi.org/t/664515/vape-fi/1590#post_12126947
