The creators behind the ABC's new Muppets series - which premieres Tuesday, September 22nd - appeared before fans at San Diego Comic-Con and shared some really cool details about the show.
Co-creator Bill Prady (The Big Bang Theory), with EPs Bob Kushell and Randall Einhorn, shared the stage with Kermit (Steve Whitmire), Miss Piggy, Fozzie the Bear (Eric Jacobson, both), Rowlf, Pepe (Bill Barretta, both), and Rizzo Rat (Dave Goelz). Together they explained what the new mockumentary-style take on the show was. In the same vein of The Office and The Larry Sanders Show, The Muppets will take us into the professional and personal lives of the Muppets as they themselves all work on a TV show (giving everything a 30 Rock vibe as well).
