How to Adjust AND Lock the resistance with your X Cube Mini.

Hi there,
I recently got an x cube Mini from my boss, I also own a sigelei 90w plus(26650 regulated mod) a Tesla Nano 60w with TC.
I use four different tanks mainly, one being a UWell Crown tank, another being the Starre FreeMax Pro, a Starre FreeMax, and a Play Boy Mini(Vixen tank I think?)
Anyway, I am really enjoying the x cube mini with Ni200 , and SS in temp mode, but I can't seem to find it,anywhere online as to how to lock the ohms aka the resistance on the x cube mini ..
And my resistance is just jumping around while I'm vaping, is it just reading it as it hears up and automatically locks it when I put the tank on?
Or am I just vaping it without locking the resistance and just vaping the shit out of it?
Or is it somehow smarter than other mods and doesn't need to lock 74th resistance and just somehow regulated it with temperature?
I also notice it's wattage reading spot on the screen doesn't give an accurate reading. Maybe I need to upgrade it ? I have no idea.
Like I said. I tried using Google and cant, find anything on it.
Thanks.

okay, thank you so much. Very useful. 35:00minutes and like 10 seconds into the bottom video, pseudo Vape's video, he goes into great detail about the resistance locking and ohms settings.
In case anybody was wondering, you need to go into the menu, go into the settings option (the gear logo), then go over until you see what looks like a micro sd card inserting into something, open that and you can manually enter the ohms or resistance of your coil, it also auto detects that resistance of your coil automatically and I guess that's how the temp mode of this device is functioned. But do realize, when in temp mode, whether it be Ni, Ti, or SS it's going to change and adjust the ohms meter(resistance reader) as you vape, meaning it won't read the initial resistance of your ohms\atomizer while your vaping it, instead of changes and jumps up and down as you vape, telling you what your exact resistance is while your taking that toke. But in all, it does know what your initial resistance is, and it knows because when you first attach your atty to the tank, it saves it and locks it automatically, meaning you don't need to lock it in, it does it for you. Still, I was a bit weary of that at first, because with every other device I've owned, I knew it was a MUST to set and lock your resistance of the atomizer before using temp mode, because temp mode relys on that feature to determine if it's getting to hot, and thus it can stop putting power to it once it reaches that temp, but I did a Google search and found absolutely nothing about how to lock in your resistance with the x cube mini, so I guess i,kinda figured it wasn't supposed to with this device. More so,i gave in to my vape, I had just primed a new coil slapped it in my tank and wanted to vape it, plus not finding anything online about it just pushed me over the edge, lol.
Now I know, and now you know.

So, now that I've seen this video and figured this out, I hope this helps somebody some day when they Google how to lock resistance with a cube mini, oh and by the way, I'm using the Starre Freemax Pro tank with a 0.15ohm nickel coil, temp set to 450, and also set to "Norm/Normal" mode and it's working spectacular. Hobeslty I've never enjoyed temperature control this much in my life, this thing is VERY consistent.
FYI - when I initially put this atty and tank on top of the mini x cube, it read my coil as 0.13ohms, I therefore went into the settings and adjusted that and put my resistance to 0.15ohms, which is what my actual coil reads engraved on the side of it, so make sure to adjust that in settings if you know which coils you are using as this makes a huge difference in the vaping experience.
Changing the title of this topic to
"how to adjust, and lock your resistance with X-Cube Mini, so when it's googled this will show up in the results, as I was unable to find this information that way before, I RARELY get 0 results when I Google something as specific as this. And this time, I did. So this will help somebody out in the future.
Good night everybody, and thank you f1r3b1rd.!

Now they just need to make an x cube Mini that takes a 26650 battery and I'll be happy.
I own a sigelei 90w plus that takes a single 26650 battery and it's absolutely fantastic. But nowhere near the consistency in TC as the x cube mini.
I HATE that it only takes a single 18650, BATTERY life is half the battle when you are a vapor shark.

I have not.
But, I am going to Google and see now.
What is it about these devices you like sir, hmm?
I bought an efest 26650 last night and it freaking sucks balls compared to the 26650 that came with my sigelei 90w plus kit, my sigelei battery says it's 4200mAh and 40 amps. The efest claims it's 5200mAh and 15 amps. I notice when I put the efest battery in, it's weak vapor production. When I put in the sigelei battery, it's off the chain good.
Wow...

Wow... omg
A 26650 device that does SS TC and has a detonator style firing button!?!?!
IM IN LOVE. thank you thank you thank you!!
I would have never found this on my own ..
Omg it's beautiful. I want one!
Joytech makes the chips\boards for these?
Same company who makes the evic VT and evic vtc??
I actually have an Evic VT sitting here next to me that a broken, I am going to attempt warranty service on it later.
But that vape centurion can take a 26650 or it has an adapter for a 18650 battery haha that's awesome. Temp control in ni ti and SS. I wonder how it Vape's in TC compared to the X CUBE.
do they make a DNA200 that takes 26650 ??
I'm all about that battery now that I've tried it.
I doubt I'll ever go back to using 18650s..but maybe, it's just really convenient to use only one battery that lasts a full 24hours.

Impressive stuff.and very informal..I can use this when pitching a sale at work also, thanks a lot.
One thing I noticed about the x cube mini is that you can go into the settings and manual set your initial resistance, and WOW that makes a HUGE difference in the quality of the vape!!.
Usually I also my starre freemax pro on with a 0.15ohm nickel coil And it reads it as 0.129 for whatever reason, and the vape isn't that great. But since I know what ohms the coil is supposed to read at, I dial it in as 0.150 and the difference is just amazingly different. Are there any mods you know of that allow that feature or is it just the x cubes?
Do the DNA 200 box mods do that also? Can you manually input the resistance of your coil ?? Because if so, im sold on the idea.

no you cant/// but the dna mods are far more accurate and you can adjust many more parameters.

Sold on the idea of getting a dna200 box mod that is, if you can manually dial in the resistance and set it that way. Because I noticed the vape is just so much different when your able to do so..is that safe?
When the device reads it as 0.129 and I change it and set it to 0.150?
I mean, that's what the coil is, it's 0.150 not 0.129

you can not set the resistance in a dna mod or a yihi mod
it reads the resitance for what it is... but you can set its preheat power and punch .
you can set it for what it hits the coil with initially and how hard.
as far as the coils resistance you cannot set it, the device will read it or what it is.

Can you also please explain to me the difference between a dna200 evolv chip and say any other device that does TC?
What parameters are you talking about. I don't really understand what you mean because I don't understand what that even means I guess. Is it really that big of a difference ? I believe it is. Because even setting my resistance manually has increased flavor and cloud production in this x cube mini

I see. Have you ever used an x cube before?
If yes, have you noticed the difference between manually setting the resistance from what it automatically detects when vaping on it

?
It really mAkes a huge difference, I wonder why it does that. Maybe from the coils manufacturing it doesn't design the coil to be an exact 0.150ohm and it's just a few points off?

I cant answer why.. as to the difference between them... I don't know enough about every mod out there to tell you that.
I'm just vapor that does a fair amount of research before I buy something.
I know on the dna you can customize the tcr curve, the tcr value. you can change the screens, load 8 profiles. and run 8 different sequences of preheat and punch. the dna is said to be more accurate than others also.

as to the other mods, I really don't know. I went and found a your tube video to answer your question because I was curious.
