Hi folks , are Naturally extracted tobacco's similar in the way you use them compared to other flavors ? Are they concentrated and you use your VG and PG in the same manner .

Just curious why some would prefer "NETS" and others just the basic tobacco flavorings by other vendors. Are nets superior ? If anythings different in their use i would appreciate it if you can let me know.

Thanks again everybody

I bought a Menthol Tobacco NET from Goode Juice when I first started looking for an all day vape. It's premixed and ready to vape. Only problem for me is I only vaped one carto full and it cost 15 bux for 30 mL while being nothing special. It's 24mg strength and I'm down to 16 now. I smoked Kool filter kings and got through my first two weeks with a KEWL blend from a mixer in Chicago. Now, I seldom use Tobacco flavors or Menthol..

I did buy some Flavor Art tobacco flavors from Bull City during their big sale because my brother started vaping to quit the analogs and I wanted to be able to make some recomendations but he has settled on a RY4 and now I'm looking for the right mix to add some menthol to for myself. I'm finding I like the cigar flavorings a bit more. So I guess my opinion is they're not superior, whatever works is.

I think it's mostly a matter of flavor. Like for instance my dad who just started vaping so far has only liked NET tobaccos. Every tobacco flavor he's tried he doesn't care for. He thinks most of them taste perfume-y/chemical-like. Basically fake. Think of it this way. It's the difference between making iced tea with the tea bags (sun tea) VS Lipton ice tea that comes from the can. (the powered stuff) Both may be good but you can taste the difference.

Im far from an expert on NET's this is more of a random ramble on the topic. to avoid conflict Im going to hit multiple angles on the topic lol. I guess Ill start by saying I believe NET's to be a safer alternative to smoking. vaping anything is better than smoking anything. in my past research on NET's I personally decided to avoid them. for one I have never liked the taste of tobacco even when I smoked. tobacco , even"organically" grown use pesticides and other things to help get them to harvest. everything we consume has an allowable amount of pesticides and feces and god knows what else but that doesnt make it ok either lol. when extracting the flavor from these tobaccos its a bit naive to believe you are only extracting flavor. Just from memory , a google search would confirm or deny but i think some of these NET juices have been shown to contain very small amounts of carcinogens. dont quote me on that tho. its like the custard topic, almost and never as intense lol. one group will say anything is better than smoking cigs and one group will want nothing to do with it. I add my disclaimer that personally I could care less what anyone wants to vape, NET's are a lot of work and generally have to be used at higher % when mixing. Im sure the flavor like said above is better just like nothing beats capellas vanilla custard version 1.

I also found out reading in the flavor art clear stream program testing on living cells that for instance flavors extracted from roasted coffee beans that these flavors actually kill more living cells than cigarette smoke. thats the kind of testing and results you could never get from an MSDS sheet or a simple test for greater than or less than % of D/A/AP. that makes me a little concerned with people making their own extracts at home. what is it we are ultimately making while we think we are harmlessly mixing random things together and vaping them ?

Im not saying Im right or wrong and anyone who makes their own extracts dont take this as I am saying what you are doing is wrong. Im sure a lot of my concerns have been answered I just havent researched it enough because tobaccos not my thing anyways. these are only my thoughts on NET's and other extracts. its just to much more time and money for me to think about to lol. just think of all the 5 and 10 dollar bags of tobacco you would buy trying to get the perfect flavor hahaha.

There are nets, naturally extracted tobaccos and there are wta's, whole tobacco alkaloids. I believe the wta's are more satisfying as there are other things in cigs that make them addictive. I have never tried either, so I can't speak personally about them. But, in all cases, the nic or alkaloids must be extracted somehow. The methods are proprietary, so we don't know what was used. Not trying to scare anyone, as they are way better than all the chemicals found in tobacco, along with the combustion process. I'm sure someone will come along who knows.

depends on who makes them and at what strength, and yes, either net or wta..

you could start anywhere from 1% and work up to 40%..
talk to who ever you get yours to as to a recommended amount.

Wow, thanks wllmc, Jesus man , lots of good info here .

As soon as i read 'allowable amount of fecal traces possible' that was enough for me , what i want to know now is how do i get my hands on this mother f er who's responsible for the "allowable traces of feces" is perfectly acceptable thought process , i don't recall anybody asking me if i was OK with it .

Thanks , lots of very good points

They have tobacco that supposedly has had no pesticides and stuff added. I will eventually get some when I have extra money. (if that ever happens) You have to buy it in bulk though (at least the place where I saw it) It was like a lb or something which doesn't sound like a lot but we're talking about leaves.

No plans to grow my own , if i was going to make an effort to grow something it wouldn't be tobacco lol.
