I Can’t Escape: Darkness is coming to PC, Mac, and Linux on September 17, 2015.
The game is the follow-up to 2013’s I Can’t Escape, and puts players in a caliginous maze-like living dungeon where “everything conspires against your escape.”
Also revealed in the latest gameplay trailer is the introduction of death messages (think “YOU DIED,” only with more description). Upon succumbing to the dungeon, players will be presented with how many steps they took before they met an untimely end. One of the examples given, which are Tweetable, is: “After taking 18 steps and collecting 0 keys in 01m 18s, I was poisoned to death by a damn rat.”
