I can't unscrew the bottom of my atlantis 2 tank! help!

I don't want to use pliers to grip onto the threads to flatten them and I don't have any rubber bands or gloves. Can i just drip from the top straight to the coil? use it like a dripper?

NO dont do that,, Use your shirt or the cuff of your jeans to gain leverage to twist

Electric tape over pliars...next time, when you put it on, tighten it, and then turn it back 1/4 of a turn...

i dont have electric tape either but yeah after i do eventually get it unscrewed, ill remember to not tighten it too much.

I keep a couple of those "grippy pads" like the kind you open stubborn jar lids with. They work wonders...;)

ok i found latex gloves and it finally worked. so weird how using all my strength with my bare hands and just a nudge with latex gloves was a big difference
