I need help with my smok stick v8

Sometimes when I go to hit it it will have no lighsta rn won’t hit and I have to like hit it against something for a bit and it will start hitting again I think it’s something with the battery and I know it isn’t anything with the coil or tank

Smok products in general are basically junk....perhaps someone with more knowledge about this particular mod will chime in to help you.

Yeah, that sounds like you got a bad one. I have one(cause it’s purple and I couldn’t help myself) and have had no problems whatsoever. But Smok is definitely a polarizing company and I have heard of other people having major problems with their products.

Wait...you hit your mod against something? Have you done that before it started having issues? It may not be the case, but it sounds like the fire button itself is sticking (big surprise right?) Don't know if there's a way to fix it or not though, sorry.

Did you ever fix the smok stick? If not and If you still have it and don't care to possibly destroy it , would you care to try to take the battery apart/open and look at what kind of battery is in it and just to see how it's set up inside? I'm interested in changing the battery and possibly turning it into a mech mod

I have to agree with someone down below, I figured after vaping for 7 years, I would purchase a SMOK Priv V8 and an 80w Osub. Within a week both were broken. One actually almost exploded had I not been quick enough to open the battery door. Needless to say, I sent both products back per the warranty and I have them sitting in my Vape drawer. I will NEVER buy another SMOK item. They are just manufacturing items with little to no QA/QC and selling them. I don't trust their products! If you think it's something with the battery do yourself a favor throw it away IMMEDIATELY!

Also, unless you know EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING, PLEASE DO NOT ALTER ANY devices to a mech mod! Just go out and buy one!
