I have a MELO2 and I am trying some of the different coils that fit it. I just had a Triton.4 it was great.. Replaced with a Super Tank .2 Primed the coil waited started at a low watt. 45 watts seems to be the highest I've gone. I read breaking in a coil can take a tank or so. During the break in period do I keep the watts low? Vape at 45 for a few days and then crank it up to 65-70 Thank You

I've never had a coil that didn't break in within a few pulls!

I certainly wouldn't wait a few days to crank it up - but some people do indeed do that. It's up to you - see what works for your vaping style (or how patient you are LOL)

Break-in time is how long it takes for any weirdo taste the new coil provides to disappear.

Maybe my MELO can only handle the coil at 50w.. I'll have to get more Triton coils that worked great.

I have a tank that uses proprietary coils. They can sometimes take a full tank for the cotton flavor to dissipate and the full vape flavor to present itself. This is why I prefer rebuildable and rayon. Not that they can't be good after break in, but no break in rocks.

I have the melo 2 it is my go to. Flavor is awesome. I use the rebuildable coil that smart vapes has for the melo 2 and widened the cotton holes never a dry hit. I usually build .05 .06 coil in tc mode. I don't care for a lot of air flow so keep it open to about 1/8" per side.
