I want the cherry bomber box mod but idk if i should get the authentic or clone

A couple notes, the mod hits pretty decently out of the box. It comes with a spare copper strap for the top section, I added the spare on top of the installed one and it really increased the power of the hit. Over all, its a decent box, the magnet that holds the door on is a tad weak, but the design where the door slides in a groove kinda negates that weak magnet. You have to use a 22 mm or less atty since the entire box is connected to the negative poles of your battery, if you screw in an atty that touches the side, or part of the box, it will fire because it is completing the circuit. The hugely overpriced original has the same issue. It's a pretty simple setup, but 22mm or smaller attys only!
For $35 bucks, it's worth it.

Thanks man im deff gona get it now but i want to order sum new attys with it and none of them say if there 22mm or less so are most attys 22mm or less or do u have any suggested attys that are good for flavor and or clouds that will work on it? I prefer clones because there a lot cheaper and if u could give me sum links for them too it would be really appreciated.

Boxes and tube mods are always negative. Did they reverse the current in the 510 or something? Not sure I get it
Its the switch and the recessed 510 connector. The switch simply makes contact with the copper post below the 510, which is connected to the positive poles of the battery. If the positive pin in the 510 is in contact with the positive 510 pin in the atty and the side of the atty (negative) touches the metal case, you have a closed circuit, and the atty fires, without depressing the switch.

Ok thanks for the suggestions. Ive been doin sum research and i kinda wanna try the plume veil or something that has a lot of good reviews. I already got the mutation v3 and its a cloud beast but im wondering if there is any attys that cost more that are worth the extra. I want one for the best possible flavor and a different one for the biggest clouds with no worry about the price
Do u kno which freakshow is better the reg or the mini? And does the troll have better air then the mutation v3 or is it about the same?

Focalecig is having a group buy for the Cherry Bomber for 23 bucks. Not sure if it's the Ivogo or not, but for 23 dollars? they say is has a different sku# than the ivogo, I assume since it's a group buy at a special price

I just have the standard one, but a lot of folks are swearing by the mini.

I work overseas so I usually order a ton of vape mail while I'm away and have to wait until I can go home to open it. Last week I ordered the cherry bomber from fasttech for $37 and the next day the price dropped to $30 
. Then I found the groupl buy for the $22 dollar one......and I ordered it too. Gonna be a month before I can get home and see if they are any good. It's killing me.

I'm not on either side of the fence clone vs original just that if I get high end piece I usually get the original. Although I know people say sometimes the clone is better
One reviewer of the clone mentioned that it came with a spare copper plate for the battery terminals and they installed the spare on top of the existing one.
Another reviewer of the original wished the copper plate for the battery terminals was thicker and no spare was provided.
Does this make the clone better? not sure.

I sell the clones and they are great! No hot button issues or anything like that to speak of. Get a clone...they are worth every penny

Have you actually tried it with any atties larger than 22mm? 'Cause apparently even the authentic autofires when a 25mm unit is screwed on.
I have a copper authentic with a 22mm Mutation X V3 mounted. For shits and giggles I just pulled the cap off the atty and touched a small screw driver to the lip of the atty base and lowered the screw driver in a pivoting motion and touched the copper body. Witnessed a tiny spark and the atty fired.
If anyone has a clone that doesn't auto fire when a larger atty comes into contact with the body, please post a pic of the internal switch. I'm very curious as any possible mod that I could make to my own Cherry Bomber.

I bought a black cherry bomber from ivogo. I like it, don't love it. Mine did not come with the copper strip connecting the positive copper screws, just aluminum or SS. It doesn't always fire and the button gets REALLY hot. I run VTC5s. I also have the Buddha on top and have had it autofire on me ONCE. I did the magnet switch upgrade as well, which I suggest. The Buddha did not make any connection at first so I put in a new LONGER copper center pin, worked really well.
Any advice on the firing and hot button?

The build I have is .18. The batteries rarely get hot. Maybe try a higher build?
Really? By screwing it down and making contact with the metal on the box you are bypassing the switch and completing the circuit.
That happened to me once. Freaked me out! lol However, I switched the center 510 post with a longer copper pin so my buddha wouldn't make contact with the box.

Just ordered the clone from fasttech and a few vtc4s from lightningvapes to link to it. They also have the copper clone for 60 bucks. Cant wait til it comes in. Need to get some magnets for the switch though any ideas where to purchase some that will fit?
I got one of the clones on the focal group buy.IT SUCKS!!! It fires not even half the time. And when it works, the switch gets VERY hot. I'm going to try a small switch with a mosfet.
I'm not sure if the clone parts are interchangeable with the authentic. I've got the authentic copper cherry bomber with the full silver upgrade. All I can say is that the full silver upgrade is almost 3x times the price of the clone itself.

Im not big into clones, but decided to get this one to see what i was getting into before shelling out a few hundred bucks.
I got a few high priced mods collecting dust and it kinda feels like throwing away money.
Supposively its a 1:1 clone down to the engraving and supposively all parts are interchangeable with authentic.
If all goes well ill probly get an authentic copper cb.
Edit: will look for the silver attachments pack.and transfer em over to the authentic when the time comes.
I even ordered new vtc4s to marry to this device.
mine is having that autofire problem...is there a fix? allmy atty's are a little tight. for now maybe electrical tape along the bottom edge but a bigger delrin insulator would be clutch. any other suggestions to fix this? i almost blew a bettery yesterday, a vtc4 no less on a .4 ohm build! AAAHHHHH!!!
