i put some rubber under the delrin insulator the 510 threaded adapter goes in, lifting it up making it a little higher than flush than the top of the box, removing the issue of larger than 22mm attys. done deal!!! easy peasy, pretty much looks exactly the same, too.

I've read tons of post and seen pics of people complaining of auto firing, battery venting, melting and even hot buttons. And most if not all complaints are from clone users. I have nothing against clones. But the majority of these users are new vapers or who don't know how a mech works.

I usually super sub ohm at around .09-.11 on my Bomber. I never had any issues with those complaints.

Battery safety, ohms law and common sense will prevent all these issues.

Vape safe everyone.

Does anyone else have to WRENCH the hell out of their batteries to get this thing to work? I've got an upgraded v2 cherry bomber by STX with a tugboat V2 atty.. I'm using 2 Sony 18650s.. Idk wtf I have tighten them down so much but that's the only way it'll fire.. Kinda scary granted all the messed up stories I hear about these clones.. Lmk if you have any insight. Thanks!

mine is having that autofire problem...is there a fix? allmy atty's are a little tight. for now maybe electrical tape along the bottom edge but a bigger delrin insulator would be clutch. any other suggestions to fix this? i almost blew a bettery yesterday, a vtc4 no less on a .4 ohm build! AAAHHHHH!!!

A real vtc4 is a 25a battery X 2, plenty of headroom.

Am i the only one thats never had a problem with the cherrybomber?

I have a black anodized or painted ivogo cloned cherry bomber, I've had zero issues with auto firing, even using a black anodized hellboy square atty that touches the box. I think the fact they are both coated to some extent is insulating enough to prevent it. But I do have a huge issue with it not wanting to fire consistently. I have replaced the spring with MCV magnets. It fixed a hot button issue but i still get intermittent firing. I removed the button and took a dremel with a burring bit on it and smoothed the contact area where the switch meets the box, but its still a PITA. I have to take the thing apart every time I put a new atty on because the flat spot on the copper ring around the 510 gets out of position. The CB hits hard as all get out when its firing, but I keep searching for a permanent solution to ensure a proper fire. I've pretty much given up on it and just have it laying around for when I want to get aggravated while vaping.

Update: Anyone having issues with firing, go buy some brasso from your local hardware or department store. I cleaned every contact point with brasso and it's firing perfect, not sure how long it will last, but hopefully this will help others. Brasso is cheap and cleans copper, brass, SS and more very well.

I have a Tobe 30mm and it works fine..however anything over 22m looks silly anyway
This is not always correct. I will explain. If you have a painted Cherry Bomber you can run larger than a 22mm addy. If you have a copper or aluminum Cherry Bomber then it will fire because the whole box is the ground. For someone who owns a shop you sure are setting yourself up for a lawsuit. The painted Cherry Bomber is also grounded into the whole box but the paint they use won't let it make contact with the bare metal under it. Not trying to call you out but I also don't want to see someone blow their face up and that to me is more important than your pride. Please keep in mind that if the paint chips on a painted Cherry Bomber where the addy screws in you can still get contact and cause it to fire.

I have never had any issues with mine and it's a base metal no finish it will autofire of course but I'm not 1 to put it in my pocket with other stuff lol

sent from the back of Otto's bus

Just wondering, is it possible that you could apply some sort of varnish to the box to insulate it? even putting a varnish over the painted ones so it doesn't chip would be nice.
