So I'm sitting here and a big light bulb came over my head, I had some syringes left for giving our kittens meds from when I was breeding hairless cats.

Just mixed up same game over with some cookies and cream and holy dang......for my first bottle it's amazing:) I was thinking of adding something else to it but I might just vape it and go for another flavor. Now I'm looking at all my flavors and I'm almost intimidated for some reason...Now I'm sitting here just wanting to mix some other stuff but don't want to rush into it:)

Syringes I had are small though, a bit of a pain but enough to be accurate. I think I want to go for the Vader I was talking about but I just don't know where to start as I can't find any info on cloning it.

Well me and my lady decided to try some other stuff, did a capellas juicy lemon and some cake batter and came out with a creamy pez, I was a bit worried that it would come out a bit too lemony but the lady wanted to try her own mix, and wow it's literally like a lemon pez:) Pretty lemony but the cake batter added a bit of creamish taste to it.

Also took a stab at some sugar bear and while it isn't exact I think it's actually better!! All I can say is I'm looking at all these premium juices I have and thinking man I spent a lot, but I can't think of it that way or I will just have post buyers remorse which is just silly, it is what it is.

Anywhoo that's all I got right now I'm just having a blast trying out some stuff and it's so exciting knowing how much cash I will save now that I am on the road to mixing a bunch of goodness:)

Thanks for all the help guys:)

Disco.

If you aren't going for flat out max vg is recommend going with a pg nic base. Vg nic base has been (recently) exposed as having issues with having "hot spots" where the nic settles more in some spots than others making it somewhat inconsistent without lots of shaking

I have done a couple batches 10 mil, one using vg one using pg base, the vg I did at an 80vg 20 pg mix and the pg I did at a 50/50 for the ladies tank. I think shaking would be the understatement with the attachment I used for my sawzall. So hope that's enough as its pretty violent and shaken when I get done. It takes hours for it to settle so I think I should be ok.

Well I have came out with some good and I had my first bad last night oh and it was bad, tried some cherry in a mix and holy goodness!!!!! I only did 2% and it literally tasted like I took a cherry tree air freshener and some perfume and some butthole(pardon my French) and packed it in a bowl and lit it with a burning out match, so lesson learned with that one more research is needed:)

So this brings me to my question, I love creams sweet creams. I have a lot of custards vanillas milks sugar cookies etc etc. can anyone recommend a standalone or a 2 part recipe to get me by ?? I'm just wanting to get a couple good creams going to add on to, I tried quite a few and they are all just kinda bland. I realize I'm learning and I will get it but man I am on flavor overload at this point and I just start making bad choices when I get mad that I just can't mix it and love it......

I know it doesn't help I don't have my full flavor list but would it help if I posted what I have??

I think I just ordered too much and not enough if that makes sense, everything that seems complex I'm missing one or two things out of it and I get lost and skeptical about substituting things. Eh I will get it I'm still having fun and I'm not smoking so whatever:)

Thanks again for all the help so far guys the underground is all that is incredible!!!!!

This. Gear upgrades made me drop my nic under 3mg, and now I've got to measure a fraction of a ml of goopy VG nic for each batch. PITA I'd trade my remaining 200ml for PG or 50/50 base in a heartbeat.

@Discobob Future minded is good but if you're mixing for just your household, I recommend sample sizes for first purchases - for the least $$, your flavor lab will be ready to mix more recipes. Shoot for bulk rates only on stuff your palate knows well. The frustration of running out of a flavor (which means you're probably enjoying it) is less than deciding whether to throw away a test batch, waiting for it to steep in hopes it gets better, and buyer's remorse.

Alright so I have been on a mission to duplicate my go to's, so far I have a couple that are close but this one is killing me,

I just made a small sample batch of what I found online, this is for bearded juice companies number 51.

Here is what I found,

vanilla cupcake 4%
cake batter 4%
vanilla custard 2%
french vanilla 2%
New york cheesecake 2%
sweet cream 2%

All capella's.

So the first thing I get when I vape is holy dang that's a creamy mess someone just threw together!! but the more I test it the more it is working for me but the only problem I have its missing the chocolate note at the end and that is what makes this juice what it is.

I tried a drip of what chocolate I had and it didn't mess it up but I can tell it would get bad with 1 more drip and it isn't the chocolate taste I'm getting from the original..

So to the mixing veterans by looking at that mess of flavors, what makes sense, I mean is there anything that really doesn't need to be there? would any of these flavors increased give me more of a chocolate taste...but not...does that make sense? Or maybe a light chocolate rather that the caps double chocolate is the only one I have at the moment. I guess hard to explain if you have never vaped the original but figured I would ask:)

As far as the making my own juices, I am figuring out as I go making small testers and going from there. But it's been a blast so far just not quite ready to make a huge batch of something, Haven't had that amazing vape yet if you know what I mean.

Your enthusiasm is certainly impressive but without knowing what each flavour tastes like individually and at least a basic understanding of how they mix you are kind of wandering in the dark. For example, most of the capella flavours you mention above require a lot of steeping - weeks of sitting and shaking - before they develop into something really vapable.

IMO, speaking from painful experience as well, you would be better served (and stay saner) by finding recipes on the threads here that appeal to you and start by mixing those. Most of the recipes come with steeping time suggestions and some with tips for variations. While you satisfy your creative desires by mixing those, make samples of the flavours you have at the recommended starting percentages. If you get ambitious, make them at a range of percentages as everyone's taste buds vary. At the very least you will always be moving forward and with much less frustration.

Meanwhile, everyone here is stunningly helpful and the threads are an incredible resource. I'd start by reading the Flavourart thread - even if you are using other companies' flavours the background knowledge will serve you well.
