So I've made a few mixes and got sloppy doing so!
Basically I started with steam engines outcome but got lazy...
Now I can't reverse engineer what I've been mixing to work out how much nicotine I should be adding to larger batches. Dumb dumb I know.

Anyway my last mixes were batches of vg 20ml, pg 20 ml and I'd add 2ml of 100 mg/ml nicotine.

Now I've got 200mg/ml nicotine and want to make 500 ml batches.
My calculations leave me to believe i need roughly 12.5 ml of 200 mg/ml nicotine added to 200ml vg + 200 ml pg to get the same nic strength and nearly 500 ml?

Yeah I'm stuck?

me thinks he wants to scale up his 50/50 42ml 50 nic to a 500 m/l patch and got lost at the amount of pg / vg and 100mg base to use you yield 500m/l

This should help you... https://ecigvape.com/e-liquid-combining-calculator
Just plug in the VG, PG, and nic values as flavors and the calculator will show you at the bottom what you've got.

To figure out the 500ml bottle, just change the volumes in the upper boxes

Here's a mock up for you...
240ml VG
240ml PG
10 ml 200mg nic

Combined E-Liquids = 490 ml
4.08 mg Nicotine per ml
51.02% PG / 48.98% VG
250 ml PG / 240 ml VG
**12ml of nic will give you approximately 4.88mg.

That leaves room for 10ml worth of flavorings... you'll need to back down the PG and VG to incorporate higher % of flavoring.

Thanks for the replays guys.

I sat down last night and played with steam engine, I was able to determine that my initial target and liquids were 5mg nic, so based on that I was able to use steam engine to calculate what was needed for the 500ml batch.
I was just scratching my head at first. Thanks again.
