Hello.
so for the longest time i was riding on what i thought were vtc3 batteries. As i would build lower in ohms the fire button on my mechs would get burning hot to the touch, so i decided to investigate. Turns out all 12 batteries were fake as hell. They didnt have one cue, they had them all. The seam on the wrappers were sloppy, the print was crooked, the crease near the positive end looked more like a valley than a crease and the negative contact was not flat, it popped out.
so i went to vaporshark and got some lg he2s. They work good, but shouldnt be dropped below .22 ohm without crossing the safety line of 20 amp continuous discharge.
now i have a few that the wrapper toward the positive end is ripping, so its time for new batteries.
this is actually 2 questions:
1. How do i safely dispose of these batteries. I still have the fakes and the torn wrapper batteries in a box, becausr i dont know if i can just throw them in the garbage. Last thing i want is to put someones life at risk just by picking up the trash.
2. Anyone know of a solid and reliable place where i can get 30amp batteries? Id prefer not to buy efest im looking for vtc3 of vtc4 batteries.
thanks in advance for any responses with any insight.
