Hey, wonder if you can help me, my battery is not working. When i press the button it does nothing and neither of the small buttons on the side work either. im unable to turn it off and on too.

every minute though, the green light is coming on and staying on for the 10 seconds, then flashing, like youve held the button down for 10 seconds. im guessing there is liquid in my battery or isit fucked?

isit safe for me to open it up from the top and clean in there while its coming on by iteself or am i gonna go bang by messing in there.

secondly can it be repaired?

cheers, Dan

Glad to hear it's working for you again after the exploratory surgery.

Consider something better than an EVOD battery though if you go to pick up another device. Good quality devices for very affordable prices are popping up all over now. (Sigelei 30w - $35 / Kanger KBox - $30 / iStick 30w $35 / Kamry 20w $30 / MVP 20w $35 ) All excellent options that will work better than an EVOD battery that will probably cost you half as much anyway.

Sometimes the MVP shorts out while you're pulsing / dry burning too much. In that case I've found if you just hook it up to the charger and plug it in the wall, it will reset itself.

The other problem is the o-ring around the connector which I'm assuming the video above is dealing with. In that case it's a DANCO O-Ring not sure what # it is.

Not really, the only one I have is a c-twist that i've had for over a year, it never worked right and it was always a crap shoot what actual volts it was set on. Good luck finding your perfect set up.

I rarely buy from ebay even in the states now, as the prices tend to actually be higher in most cases. Are there not any reputable budget vendors where you are? Or are you limited to ebay only?

Ive built some coils before and have had the "short" you experienced.

On alot of the ego threaded tanks you cant crank down on them hard on the adapter as the center pin on the tank presses too tight causing it to short.

If it is something faulty with the mvp you got a 1 in a million with such problem.

Not sure how taking it apart "fixed" it but my guess is the tank was on too tight....Once you feel pressure when tightening the tank , STOP...Even if it isnt perfectly flush its made its connection...Anymore tightening and you will cause a short.

I have the 20w version of the mvp and quite a few ego threaded tanks like evod, and protank 2 mini and an emow...they all shorted my device if i tightened them up too much.

There are a lot of affordable replacements instead of an evod.

already arrived! gotta say for what i paid im surprised, its really good, gives same output as what i run my MVP at, smaller, lighter.

only downsides i see are that you cant use while its charging and with only 650mAh battery it aint gonna last aslong as my MVP, but for a backup its pefect.

i think in a few months im gonna wanna upgrade from my MVP 2.0.

any suggestions? itll be for home use mostly so i dont mind on size. it will be used with mini naut with 2.1ohm coils, might even change the tank if someone reccommends a better one without going crazy on the price.
looking to spend about £50-£70 maybe on battery

iTaste vv3. It's only 800 mAh, but it's a gem! VV and VW They did bring out a new one with maybe 1000 mAh, but it's pricey.
Tesla Spider. it's a twist. 1300 mAh, bigger than an eGo, smaller than a mech.
