Last night, we traveled to a galaxy far, far away... Hollywood! That's right, we were on hand for the gigantic Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere and have returned with a look inside one of the most anticipated events of the year. For those looking for a review of the film, we will post that tonight (well, technically at 12:01 am PT Wednesday, December 16th).
The Force Awakens event was one of the biggest Hollywood premieres ever, taking over three separate, massive theaters: The Dolby Theater (where the Oscars are held), the Disney-owned El Capitan across the street, and the iconic Graumann's Chinese Theater.
The historic Hollywood Blvd was shut down and completely covered for the event, and premiere-goers traveled down a red carpeted path on the way to the screenings. The entire area was emblazoned with awesome Star Wars imagery. Awesome props, toys, even characters lined the concourse to the event--and we were there to chronicle what we saw.
