Another update: Still works fine besides the lousy ohm readings. I think the 510 connection may still be weak because between during a drag, it sometimes starts off weak and then jolts way up as if the voltage was cranked up another 30 wats, or vice-versa.

I came back here to ask though, how long does your device typically hold a charge for? I was expecting about two or three days from this device, but it seems that it lasts about 1 to 1.5 days on a full charge. Just wondering if that's an indicator the batteries are old.
Using my ipv4 with a Crown, ni200 at 45J and 500F, I get 1.5--2 days.

I think it totally depends how many mls and what wattage you're using!

I go through around 30mls a day at around 65 watts on my Asolo, and I change batteries (dual) about three times during the day!

I'm doing probably 15 mils at most a day, at 70 watts, so I suppose it is similar battery drain to yours. My batteries are run in series though. Are yours as well?

I always got at least a day out of mine, I'm hardly ever over 32-35w and about 20-25ml a day.

Another update:

I'm about done with this thing... It started saying 'check atomizer' again and powershot isn't fixing it this time. I still see nothing mechanically wrong with the 510 connection. The pin springs fine, the connection is very clean, and the wires are attached nicely. All three of my atomizers don't work on it no matter how loosely or tightly I screw them on... I'm lost here.

Perhaps it's a problem with the board not reading resistance accurately? Should I just take the board out of the equation and have myself a mech mod?
