IPv d2 Vs sigelei 75 temp control

Looking at moving away from my istick 50's ( I have 2 at present) Iv had them both about four months now. On one the watts jumps around on its own and the other the fire button is naff on it and a real pain. On these I use a subtank mini but have had a lot of trouble with both I have owned so also looking at moving away from them to. I vape between 20 and 30 watts on this set up but looking for some thing to experiment with more power.

Iv decided on three tanks I'm wanting to get

Lemo 2
Delta 2
Maganus

And have also been looking at mods. The two that catch my eye are the

IPv d2 ( still most places are waiting on receiving to sell in the UK). And the sigelei 75 temp control.

I was just wondering which one people would suggest out of the two.

I'm not into the temp control at the moment but it's not some thing I would rule out for the future.

Honestly, hindsight being 20/30 I wish I had gotten something with dual 18650's before a single 18650. Not for the extra power; but, for the extra battery capacity. I'm loving not needing to bring around extra batteries and getting all day and into the night off one pair of batteries.
If it were me, I Would be looking into something like the sigelei 150tc. Its a brilliant board, a well built mod, and can fire damn near anything you mount on it. If you're using it at 30-40w you'll probably get a full day or more off a full charge. I would then get something like a sig75 or along those lines as a backup device or a quick out and about mod.

Can't speak for the ipvd2, I do own a sigelei 75tc. Neither are perfect. They both are very good though. Some of the issues I, and others experience with the sigelei are, it will give a replace batt warning at around 3.5v. Not sure why it does this, some speculate it is to save your batteries from premature death. So this does create an issue. Mods running in tc in particular have shorter batt run times, but this run time is lessened buy the early check batt issue. Another random issue is that every once in a while it won't fire when you hit the button. Mine is very random, maybe once a day at most. Other than those couple issues, I like it alot. Great build quality for the money, Very bright screen even outdoors. The resistance lock works and is a nice feature. It does only do a power mode and nickel. The D2 will do ti as well as nickel.

Thanks for the advice. Both things really to consider then. I'll look into some thing that takes 2 batteries. And the facts on the sigelei are some thing I'll bear in mind.

I am using the maganus with its dual nickel coils on a d2 with little to no issue. It works great
And you can rebuild if you get a segatank rba deck for it

SO I would suggest that, but be prepared for massive airflow, the maganus and subtank which i have rocking on my 3 lvi with a Ti build are tottaly different airflow
the maganus at almost closed airflow is equal to the subtank and wide open airflow

But that stock coil from a maganus nickel is VERY VERY FLAVORFUL

The maganus can use a wide range of other brand coils like atlantis and herkales

The sig 75tc and 150 tc are not in my collection but they have a reputation for quality so you cant go wrong there, I chose the IPV d2 over teh Sig 75tc based on how they look and how they look only.

I know nothing of the delta 2 and the lemo

so no help there

But you seem to be on the right track with the options you have listed.

If your looking for dual battery
sig 150tc or ipv 3li

The ipvs definitely do Ti coils
I know the sig 75tc does not
I have no clue but pretty sure the sig 150tc does

Thanks for the info. I'm achilly looking at gettin all three tanks . I'm just starting to diy my own juice and want a bit of variety and also not to always have to re wick and clean out tank every time I want a new flavour. Many people have said about the flavour from the Maganus and that's the reason it's on the list and online I can find with the rba deck included at a great price. The delta 2 and Lemo 2 I did a lot of research on and they seem like the right tanks for me.
I achilly find that I need more airflow then what my subtank gives me so the Maganus should be a great one then. It would prob be my best bet for using with the Tc when I get round to it. I'm going to take a serious look at the sig 150 on top of the IPv d2 as I'm really looking to replace my isticks altogether. Thanks for the input.

FYI vapin joe has the sig 75 for 50 bucks w/ free shipping. I know they don't last long so if you are interested I'd personally go with the sig.

that's just my opinion, what I may like, you may not

I have an Ipv2, a sig 150, & a clouper 30 watt. all of them each have their purpose, but I love my regular old 150 watt sig. It's a work horse & very rarely do I have to change the batteries 1/2 way through the day & I'm vapin @ 30-40 watt's with 2 25R's. Not sure about the new TC device. I'm not a 100% sold on temp control. It it sometimes a pain carrying around the large box mod, but so is carrying around batteries so it's your choice.

To me it maybe like 3-D tv's, I hear mixed things about them & I'm fine with my kanthal builds/devices/coils. Not sold on vaping nickel yet. I've been doing my research & I want to buy the 75 watt sig TC as well because it is a nice device but with already having 3 mods. I only use two of them, I think I'm going to stick with what I've got for now.

I almost bought the 75 watt Sig the other day when I saw it again on VJ, but then I have to buy a bunch of other items that go along with it. I'm sure in time that sig will go down in price, or they'll make a new one by the time I make my decision.

http://vaporjoe.blogspot.com/2015/08/low-sigelei-75-watt-tc-box-mod-5039-fs.html

comes out to $50.35 with free shipping just read the blog, if I wasn't broke I'd buy it. Although with the previous comments I'm now weary about it. The safety features maybe a pain in the butt

I did read that SIG made two different 75 watt TC devices so maybe they fixed those bugs the previous poster replied on. Maybe they didn't but do your research before you buy something that you don't want.

I like my IPV, but it's my work piece & it's bulky & heavy. I wanted the Sig because it's a little smaller than my IPV2

Hope that helps

Hi attackonthebass and thanks for your opinions and advice. Every one is saying the sig 150 and I like what Iv seen and read. And what people have said about it. I think that one is definantly going to be on the to buy list. As I'm looking to replace all my isticks I'm looking at this one for home and the times I'm out the house more then a couple of hours. The IPv d2 would be an it and about setup for the times when I'm out for not long. I'm in the UK and sig 75 is bout the same with a lot of places at about £50 with free shipping on orders over £20.
I'm not really into the temp control at the minute so it's not really an essential feature for me as I'm also diying my own juice I don't want to add to many variables at the moment.

I just got a d2 and love it. The only thing I'm not to happy about, is the 3.5 pin plug. Why the hell didn't they use a micro USB instead!? I'll get over it. Lol
