Hi all. I am shopping for an affordable mod to move away from my kanger evod. I am looking at either an ipv d3 or a tesla 80w tc. Sell me on one of them!

Nobody? I am thinking of the ipv because most people say the yihi chipset is great.

I can't speak on the tesla, but I can on the ipvd3. I've had mine for about 3 months or so. It's been really good so far. I've dropped it a bunch and chipped the paint on it but everything still works fine. I'd say the paint is slightly wearing off but I have been really rough on this one. I'd buy another if I had too.

Thanks for the review. What type of vaping do you do? Like wattage and tank?

I am currently using my Cleito with the .4ss coil at 60w. I also have a super tank mini using the .5 coil around 50-55w and the same with the crown 2. 30/70 e liquid. They all work great on the ipvd3 with no issues.

the D3 is a solid mod with a good rep. and the yihi chips are great. I'd pick that over a tesla out of those 2 options.
what exactly are you looking for in a mod?

Went with the Ivp from a guy on this site. Look forward to trying it out. The cubis tank will be a good intro for me...ands my chest can't handle too much vapor yet. Last mod was a smok osub. Too airy for me with the helmet tank, so I plan on running the cubis for a while and see!

Which osub were you running?
I think you'll like the D3. I've never used that tank so I'm not sure. Good luck and I hope it works for you!

I was running the smok osub 40 watts with the helmet mini tank. It was very airy for a beginner. I ran .4 ohms and about 40 watts depending on the flavor
