Well , i'm a fan of early VH but i think calling it like it is , is better than not being real. If your girlfriend says does my ass look fat in these jeans , take a look and if it looks fat the answer is yes , it most certainly does.

She's will take a swing at you but will appreciate it when your out and people aren't saying behind her back , man , what a fat ass , can't believe she's wearing those jeans.
hahaha My Ex wife hit me over the head with a freaking older heavy ass laptop then she stuffed chocolate chip cookies in my ear. So when the fat girl comes up to me tonight in a scary costume at the Vape bar you want me to tell her.. Ms Blob please remove yourself from my presence you smel of swine? hahahah I like the Early Pre- Sammy H Van Halen as well Woman and children first is a great album but Atomic punk is one of my favorite VH songs

There's always that fat girl that has a crush on you , none of the hotties , just the hay grazer's lol. My ex clocked me over the head with a phone ha ha , that was it for me , i never touched her in any way , man, she was violent as hell .

Yeah , big fan of the first album , second album , Fair Warning (especially Mean Street , could listen to that all day and night ) and even some tunes off Diver Down , Woman and Children first but not much after that.

Here is one live show , early days (their first ever in the UK ) that was incredibly impressive , has your Atomic punk) also .

That concert was amazing.. when Eddie came out doing the intro to Meanstree I was just freaked... still to this day I remember it like yesterday despite the huge amount of chemicals invloved

I few random thoughts on charging a series stack. The Vapor Range $20 charger looks more like a typical power supply. But is it? I would assume it would be more like this one.

http://www.batteryspace.com/smart-c...er-rechargeable-battery-pack---ce-listed.aspx

http://www.batteryspace.com/smartcharger12afor74vli-ionpolymerrechargeablebatterypack--ullisted.aspx

  • This smart battery charger designed to charge 7.4V Li-Ion/Polymer battery withcapacity >= 1600mAh.
  • Automatically cut-off power when battery pack is full at 8.4V

To properly charge a stack folks usually use a balance charger that has 3 leads. Here's an example of the addition of the balance lead (yellow.)

Balance_2s_0_0.jpg

The correct, actual chargers, are not that expensive. Turnigy is a decent brand.

49338.jpg

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...act_2S_3S_Lipo_Charger_100_240v_US_Plug_.html

A cheaper one.

22410.jpg

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__22410__HobbyKing_174_B3AC_Compact_Charger.html

The yellow lead will be monitoring and adjusting for each cell, carrying a small amount of current that is basically the difference between the 2 cells. Each cell will end up equal, the pack will be balanced. In the first example the charger (2 wire output) simply sees the pack as one 8.4V cell.

You can't be that old lol, were probably around the same age . I would much prefer to avoid the getting old part in life but unless i'm missing something there's not much we can do , sucks i know .

Yeah , you didn't deserve that , i apologize lol, best to avoid those types of memories.

Don't be ridiculous , i'm sure your responsible for lots of great things as you have proven your very ambitious . For example , if it wasn't for you most wouldn't know half the stuff they now know about the iPV's mods , can't deny that .

The bottom line is it's true or i wouldn't have said it , that you think it's kind is just a plus . Now on to more important matters , you holding back important info BUDKISS ?

Man , i must say you have incredible restraint , or are you just holding back that info for your own personal safety (which is very understandable actually) as most like to think they have the latest and greatest for more than a week or so.

If you got it , i would love to hear about it though . If you receive death threats or there are attempts on your life just say i forced you at gunpoint to post the info on VU .

I came across the 3m link when I was still reading that beast of a thread on the istick at ecf, before that I think it was mentioned as coming from another thread over there as well, so sadly it is not my original content either but hey at least we all get the option for some cheap wraps. Takes more work than jwraps as you have to create the template but the price sure is right.

VH.. not intentionally holding back from you or anyone here on VU but I want to confirm a few more details (and the cold hard facts) before sharing it publicly. (If memory serves me i got way too much negative attention a few months back when i did a sneak peek at the ipv3 albeit some of it was about a vendor doing some shady things.) Having said all that let me pull something more firm together to start a new thread this week. Hang tight. The announcement will be here (not ECF).

I can tell you this much to whet the whistle... the ipv4 will use the new sx330 v250 chipset by yihi. It will be able to fire up to 250 watts (why anyone would want to I have NO idea). It will have a temperature control option like the DNA40 when using special wire. It will have (at least) dual 18650's and a bunch of cool techy things that are chip related like touch color TFT screen (which will be available in more than one size). It will have blue tooth (I am guessing some sort of an app to program the mod and do puff count and that type of thing). It will be a box mod. I will have magnets. It MAY have a touch fire. Word is it will fire from .05 to 3.0 ohms. P4Y will likely release this box at holidays but preorders and the big announcement may come around Black Friday. I have no word yet on estimated MSRP.

I am still trying to squeeze info from a friend at P4Y. As you already know they are famous for changing things at the last minute (or worse yet) right after they release a model so we can be a beta testing guinea pig.

VH... If i get slammed (or worse yet, death threats) for this kind of scoop I will need to hire you for protection. After my accident I cant really defend myself physically anymore. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Well then , in that case i'm giving full cred to BUDKISS , i know he was a big time contributor over there and knew about stuff long before anyone else so i don't doubt for a second that he most likely sniffed out the deal and shared with others but had trouble remembering .

It happens , BUDKISS has mentioned that he was disabled in the past and may very well still be , it's very possible he could of taken a blow to the head and just simply forgot it was indeed him who came up with that info.

So BUDKISS , your comments below are definitely an afterthought now , you still are the man.

Well if this info is correct at least there are significant changes to the newest mod rather than just making the sensor work. I will wait until it is available before I decide if it is for me or not as I am not anxious to give p4y my money atm. I don't need that many watts but I do like the dual battery feature. I have been entertaining the idea of a dna40 but I really like the dual batts. Maybe some other mod makers will offer what I want by then. Of course I am still gleaming at that zero clone as well and am picturing it with a dna40 board.

I think you already have what works for you and don't even realize it . Don't let yourself get caught up in that "must obtain new mod at any cost " game unless you want to be seen walking the freeway with a shopping cart collecting cans and bottles for the 5 cent refund potential (tempting i know)

I was thinking 170-180 but I have never hit mine at 150, not even just to see what it was like because I know it will be hot and flavorless lol. So far I could of been just fine with the ipv2, but the dual battery is very nice.

Well the P4U iPV's are much more well known and have very well respected Yi Hi chips , The GOD 180 is literally brand new and people are now getting their hands on it .

It will be awhile before any worthwhile info about it's quality and durability comes in (unless you also own the GOD MOD and are comparing the two based on the time and experience you have had with both ).

Talk to Franciscan , he regularly vape's at wattages that will blow the shoes off most folks .

Says he gets great flavor and throat hit, here , check out a picture of em below after a recent vape session with his new GOD mod .

Kudos to him for sure

I owned the GOD 180 for most of a day. I did not like it for more than a few reason, but primarily: Size was too big for me to comfortably hold. The PWM the chip uses did cause some burnt tasting hits running at 60 or so watts for a build that handled the full 100 wats off my Sigelei and handles the full 150 watts off the IPV3 I now have. And the screen on the God 180 flickered. That was my experience with the God. My experience with the IPV3 has been as delightful as my experience with the Sigelei. Which, considering they both use the same chip, is not surprising. Arguably the only real difference between the IPV3 and the Sigelei is the IPV3 offers a little more flexibility in range. What I did like about the God was being able to flip that puppy same day for a modest profit LOL.

i still don't understand why vaporrange has an ipv3 for sale that says the it has an ACTIVE touch sensor. Typo maybe?

SIde note.. i took the suggestion about the 3M thing. (thank you) Requested the 5 samples. They arrived in 4 days! Thick and very nice. I put an ebony wood grain on my ipv3. It took me a while to get all the cut outs right but man does it look nice.

View attachment 8072 View attachment 8073

That came out really nice .. I also ordered and received some samples, think I may try one on a Zero sleeve.

Excellent info , sounds like the YiHi chip is just far more refined , who knows about the GOD chip . It can also be that the GOD is not accurately displaying the correct info and what you think is 60 may be 180 lol , can't be that out of whack but something isn't right.

What I've understood from the wattage world of "china"... Most of ya'll have to remember, china knows that if they say it does "150watts" that you'll believe it & buy it... China has stated many times "American's Believe Everything They Read".... So in turn, my personal opinion... 150watt IPV3 is @100watt....50watt IPV2 is @30watts etc etc... just saying + I had to pop in the convo :p ya'll take care...

No not a typo!

On the Vapor Range thing with the touch sensor. They originally had a special box being made for them by p4y witch was the IPV3 Plus Here is what the listing looked like ipv3 plus_.PNG I had sent VR an email and had some correspondence with VR about this and also had some correspondence with p4y at the same time expressing how I felt duped that they changed the ipv3 just before shipments and are now selling the "Plus" version, then the next day I was informed by VR... "It is an IPV3 with an active touch sensor but we actually just got notice from Pioneer that they are not going to be making it anymore so it has been removed from the website. Sorry for the inconvenience!"

So will the "Plus" version rear its head a little further down the line? I think it will. They probably came to their senses about avoiding some foreseeable backlash from customers that were still waiting on their pre-orders and releasing the same product with working features that were promised at the time of purchase. During that time there was some active discussions going on about the touch sensor and charging cord being pulled from the pre-order, actually to be more accurate the TS issue was not mentioned until after orders were being shipped to the customers.

lol I was kind of worked up at the time over that "Plus" version and I have since gotten over it but not entirely it seems.

EDIT: The current "Plus" version that is active on their site lists the TS as being "inactive" so it seems the carbon sides are the selling feature now, and it has VR-150 on the little plastic side window. The watt range is listed as being 10-150 rather than the 7-150 watts on their listing for the regular ipv3, but this could be a typo.

I was not aware that the listing was added again. I don't think I would spend the extra 20 bucks for that stuff though. Sorry to beat this dead horse again but it is just so irresistible when I see it just lying there.

Not sure how they (VR) got P4Y to put a charging port AND a touch sensor to fit inside the ipv3 box in that small area. I understood that part of P4Y's reasoning was 'for to have one (touch sensor) you had to give up the other (charge port)'. (Of course they also tried to play up the safety concern of the touch fire auto firing with juice spills.)

If the 20 extra bucks is the same box with just some 3m wrap on it, i will pass. You can get the 3m vinyl for free on their site and cut your own. :)

I suspect you may be right about the "plus" plans. P4Y did the whole ipv2 then ipv2s BS thing to us earleir. I bet the same craziness is gonna happen again for the ipv3. IF it happens people are likely to flip out (again)... and rightfully so.

I got a replacement ipv3 yesterday via DHL as my first one had a 510 loose connection and then finally melted the insulator. It took forever to get it done but glad to finally get it. No problems yet with this one. I got the P4Y charge cord with my order too. Seems to work ok. (Sort of BIG though).
