I personally think the D3 is a big waste of time, even if your after a small mod. I don't know what your needs are but the D3 only TC's nickel and Ti, has no firmware upgradability and that got awful charge port. If you want something small like the D3 check out the Evic VTC mini. I own a D2 and love it, however, when IPV rolled out the D3 it pretty the same as the D2 but with a new paint job. They didn't even move the shitty charge port; pretty disappointing.

I have the IPV5 and think it's a great mod as well but the two don't even compare, IMO. The IPV5 is substantially larger, it takes 2 18650's, and has lots of options. Apparently they have come down in price, right around the same place as the D3 which I think is ludicrous. Anyhow, sorry for the rabble, hope it helped.

You should be able to pre-order it though. Might check around.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

The new D3 is coming out too. I think it's called the Yaris.

Might check 3fvape.com and maybe even like vapenw.com too. Faster shipping

I believe the update of the IPV D3 is the IPV D3S

Also IPV6 already has it's updated model announced. It's the IPV6 X

It's already up for pre-order here (supposedly coming out the end of the month)

Cheers,

That IPV6 sure looks familiar. The D3s is exactly like the D2, D3 excpet they added the SX Pure setting. I got to try the pure tank and I didn't like it at all.

Yeah, the IPV6 does look familiar but its using a Yihi chip.

When they were first talking about the IPV D3S they were saying it was going to have an adjustable TCR. I don't know what happened to that. IMO that would have been the only reason to consider it.

In all honesty, I lost interest in P4Y after the IPV3 Li.

Cheers,
Steve

Agreed, I don't think I will be adding any more IPV's to the collection. Same goes for Sig.

I've progressed with P4U and they aren't perfect buy my own devices have been. The IPV5 is a solid device with excellent features. In that price range there really is currently no better mod IMHO. TC was anemic and lacking flavor until I upgraded to the IPV5. These two brand new RX200S sitting here don't even come close.

I love my IPV5 and use it daily. However, I have not updated it because the only one I've seen to date is for the POS pure nonsense.

Sorry, I meant that I upgraded from my older P4U mods to the IPV5, not that I upraded the firmware.
