I recently went to a local vape shop to get a new CLAPTON build. Everything seemed good when I left.

However when i got home I found the CLAPTON are giving off a harsh flavor with little juice flavor.

I changed the cotton and still the same deal.

I have vape at 60 w still harsh.

You could try re-wicking with less cotton, there appears to be alot in that pic. If the cotton is too tight in the coils, it will produce a harsh taste because it is unable to wick properly. When feeding the cotton through, there should only be a very slight resistance on the cotton (the mod should be able to stand up on it's own while pulling the cotton through). The same thing goes in reverse too. too little cotton and you could get a hot spot, so it's going to burn as well.

You could also try knocking down the Wattage. If the Watts are too high, you can burn the cotton (if there's too much heat being produced by the coils, it will prevent the juice from wicking properly, leading to burnt cotton since the juice wicking can't keep up to the coils).
