IPV4 9v charger

Hey all
Has anybody used a 9v charger to charge the IPV4 via the charging port in the mod?
I heard something about it being balanced charging and it's different from the IPV3 (safer)
Any thoughts?

I have been wondering about that myself and also the charge time.

i have used the one i bought from P4Y when i got my ipv3 and it works to charge and for passthrough although i do not recommend using it for either... esp since it is so easy to access batteries to remove/swap.

A couple months ago some ppl were retro fitting yihi's new charging board into the ipv3. I assume this is that charger but who knows.

That's cool, but after having the IPV4 for awhile now I find it very easy just to keep charging the batts in a separate charger..but its good to know we can use a 9v charger safely..thanks for your post..

Agreed on that being good to know, though I'm still gonna use my charger. I think battery swaps are easier on this than any device I have, regulated or mech.
