Make sure the leads aren't touching the coil at all. I had a similar issue with a customers IPV4 until we rebuilt it with the right spacing and lead placement.

Does it fire after 2 or 3 fire button presses? Mine does the same annoying crap with the same type of build.

It's built to low reason its firing is when you first mount the coil your hand heat raises the resistance but once it cools its below .055

@dre is always on point but in my case this is not what is happening.. 0.70 ohms out of the fridge for 5 minutes. Occasionally it doesn't happen at all. haven't nailed it down yet but it goes away using 30 gauge instead of 28 in the 0.085 range.

Is your build touching your rda cap maybe? Hence the occasional problem that goes away with thinner wire.

In a Zephyrus. I lock ohms when I build, again when I tighten, again when I wick, again when I screw on the chamber barrel, and one last time when its all together. 0.7 all along the way. Visual inspection yields perfect spacing and nothing touching.

Oh I know what it is already your zephyrus pin the insulation is cut it happened to me. The 510 pin has a sharp lip that rips the insulation. I bet if you back out your rda it goes away.

Nevermind. Just reread your post. I'll check that... except its all good with a slightly higher build and smaller wire?

Next time it happens unscrew your rda a turn it two and if it goes away its the pin. The tare will be tiny and barely visible.

Okay it was working for a bit now I'm getting dry coil no liquid. What is the lowest ohm the ipv4 can handle in temp control? The tank is full and coils are drenched. Wtf
