So it has been so hard to decide for a while between the IPV5 and SMOK R200 i am torn between these two and getting both is not an option, as of lately i started paying more attention to the Laisimo L1 but have mixed feelings about its large colorful screen, i am not sure this is a good idea for a mod and it costs much more than the other two options, but i would also love to hear your thoughts about it as well.

The main comparison here is between IPV5 vs. R200, they are almost in the same price range and it has been really hard to decide between those two

Factors for considering the IPV5:
- The outstanding Yihi chip performance, in terms of accuracy and versatility
- The amazing 510
- The high quality build and finish
- The light weight

CONS:
- P4Y are known to be lousy in the software update and functionality department and updates are not released frequently.
- The 75W glitch that seems to come back after replacing the battery which is really stupid
- Looks ugly and bulky to me than needs be

Factors for considering the R200:
- Very light weight which i like a lot
- Slim and can almost be used as a stealth vape
- Fits in hand and pocket great
- Looks very elegant and classy
- Amazing build and finish quality
- Long 510 which could easily take RDA/RTA with protruding pin
- SMOK are very good in the software department and have a good update history
- Battery door looks very easy to get batteries out, maybe not the case for getting them back in
- I like the fact that the battery cover is on the bottom and does not get in the way while vaping.
- Software functionality seems different than other mods and would be interesting to try out

CONS:
- not very accurate power regulation and TC performance
- resistance reading is a bit off
- battery door seems like a pain in the ass to put back on with batteries inside
- some reviews say that buttons feel cheap
- EDIT: unable to adjust wattage in TC mode

Can you please help me make a decision?:)

You do need help......
I hate P4y
Don't like the door on the r200
, the L1 is NICE but I don't like big screen on a mod.
Waiting for the sig213...

but all people swear by the IPV5 performance, most call it the best out of all their mods, i feel that P4Y is a lousy company just like you, but the Yihi chip is making their product vape so well, and it has come down in price greatly making it much more attractive.

R200 looks great at first glance but it has many annoyances and its vaping performance is mediocre, could even also be limited to 30A, not that it is a big deal but still .. IPV5 seems like a much capable device.

I am confused as hell LOL

Actually that is not the case, i saw a video of a guy comparing 6 mods including R200, RX200, Laisimo L1 and much more, and he owns even more, so no real incentive to praise the IPV5 unnecessarily but he says that the IPV5 is the best of them all in vaping performance, accuracy and how strong it hits.

Another guy in reddit who says he sold all his other mods after getting the IPV5 coz he never uses them anymore!

does not seem like these people are faking it :)

If you want to believe, then believe. As far as I'm concerned you cannot give me a Pioneer Mod, I have several, no more. In my personal opinion Pioneer is a Shady company. Check their past products and the thousands that got screwed by them.
Whatever floats your boat! ;)

not really stressing, but there are massive options out there each with some killer cons, makes your head spin, i think i will just take my chances with the R200, $35 is no biggie, if i hate it so be it, fuck it...

I have a feeling that no matter what option you choose you will be able to vape and that no Vaping Boogie man will come for you sense you did not make the other decision but I could be wrong.. These devices could very well be inhabited by "Entities" demonic apparitons and you just might get torn to pieces if you make the wrong decision

i have given this a lot of thought, i just don't feel it, something about its form factor, shape, size and weight is turning me off, also having to maintain 3 batteries and making sure to keep them balanced, just not my thing, i know it is a great mod but i just don't like it that much, i also always lean towards pocketable mods and this one is not the best in that department.

Maintaining batts? A piece of cake my friend, a piece of cake...My vaping style is probly a little different from yours..I demand performance vaping all day long on a single batt charge..balancing batts is no problem when you use the same brand and amp specs in all three..but even though it's barely taller than a 18650 batt, it is rather heavy..not a problem for me as I'm blessed with big strong hands...just hope you'll be satisfied with whatever mod you end up with..good luck!

one of my biggest attractions to the R200 is its super light weight, 128 grams for a dual battery mod is a dream, with batts installed i think it will be almost half the weight of the RX200, i like decent performance in a compact and light conveniently pocketable package, am not an extreme performance vaper, so yes we have different preferences.

I own it and can tell you it doesn't have usb charging. And yes its 2 mm taller because those big metal plates on each end how that would make it less durable idk. On another thread guy dropped his hard enough to dent battery and survived. Also i left mine on the oven while cooking was super hot to the touch and still running like a champ but really only time tell how well it lasts.
