IPVD2 - What battery to Buy

Hey everyone. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have an IPVD2 and I need to buy some batteries. When I bought the device I purchased to mxjo's. I want to add 1 or two more batteries to the collection because rotating between two is turning out to be more work than I want. I will be buying from Ecigexpress. What should i buy? I am not super smart regarding this topic. I will do sub-ohm using 0.5 and 0.3 coils on my Atlanis V2. I will venture into other coils and setups later.

Here are acouple choices.

18650 HE2 2500mAh Rechargeable Battery by LG
The LG ICR18650HE2 35AMP 2500mAh could be the beginning of a battery evolution.

I vote for the HE2. Been using them for a year now and they've held up great. Samsung 25R are just as good. You can't go wrong with either so long as they're authentic.

That is most certainly NOT a 40 amp battery and you didn't answer his question, he will be ordering from a certain site.

OP, you didnt list all the specs on the Samsung battery, if its the 25R I would go with that. Otherwise the HE2. Efest isnt even an option IMO.

Edit: I just checked their site and saw the LG HG2, that is your best option.

Good. Just picked up two yesterday. I got the equivalent of a full day out of the pair.
Apparently the 25R's are what our vape shop is recommending/boxing up with sets, etc.

I wouldn't trust anything other than Samsung, LG, or Sony (and Sonys are even suspect due to counterfeit issues). That said, the HG2 for life are nice, followed by the Sammy 25R and then the LG HE2/HE4. I'm currently running my D2 with some HE2s and some more VTC5s that I've had around since my tube mech days (been a dual-battery user for a while and not splitting up my married pairs). At 2500 mah battery life is pretty lame and I can kill 3 batteries a day at 45 joules if I'm daily driving the D2, even though I love the tiny form factor and it's currently my only foray into temp limiting. Thinking of picking up some HG2s for myself for the extra mah, but I keep finding killer deals on 2500 cells...

All of those will work fine. The Efest won't be able to go as low in ohms as the others but if you're pretty high ohms it'll last longer than the others. It's also more expensive I'm assuming. If it were me I'd go 25R.

The watts to the coil determines battery life, not the build itself. Within the limits of the device of course. Its NOT a mech mod...

Good catch, I wasn't being thorough and assumed since he was talking about ohms and I didn't recognize what an atlantis v2 was that it was a mech mod. Bad assumption on my part., it's a tank.

If it's a 75W single battery mod then you probably want to go with a Sony VTC4 or VTC3 or LG HB2 or HB6 to be safest. The 3000mAh won't be good for that for sure. The 25R and HE2 won't be bad but you are operating above their max continuous by a little bit so generally not recommended.
