Is discoloration in concentrates reason for concern?

An unopened bottle of Capella Whipped Cream that I purchased about 2 years ago has turned brown. Should I be worried about using it?

Just like juice, flavors can "age".. they can also lose compounds that you once will remember were vibrant. Chances are you can still use it, you will have to adjust and add more of the flavoring.

Proper storing can help slow it down. Most flavors have a shelf life.

lo fa cap, anything not considered as an "ultra" shelf life, if kept in a cool dark spot (no fridge/freezer) should last from 2-4 yrs.

FLV Medicine flower and other potent flavors vary, some 6 mo and on up to 3 yrs. the higher the concentration, the shorter the lifespan.

Hope this helps.
