It seems to be like an Emow/Evod type, I haven't looked into this one, I do have the Emow though and its pretty user friendly.
Congrats on quitting!!!!:)

Bottom line is if it works for you , then it is a good thing. Getting off cigs is the main purpose and later, if you want a different set up, you will be able to research and learn lots from here and others.
Congrats on quitting and beginning a new cig free life...

The Istick seems to be a contender. The price is right but there is currently some controversy about it.

For the moment, if you want a box mod, the Hana Mod DNA 30 clone could be a great choice.

If you want a tube mod, the Vamo is a long time favorite.

With the Vamo V6 just coming out (not a lot of reviews yet) you should be able to get the V5 very reasonably.

With the Hana clone, you will need purchase a battery.

With the Vamo you will need to purchase a battery or batteries and a charger.

Word of caution: Keep your investment minimal until vaping "sticks". The focus is a juice that tastes great at a nicotine level that is comparable to the rate/quantity that you are accustomed to with cigarettes. @UncleRJ made some solid recommendations. I am what would be called an "Advanced Vaper" but in my ridiculous collection of vaping kit...there lurks a Vision Spinner V2 sporting a Kangertech Aerotank V2. That combo is basic, easy to understand and use, wallet friendly, and quite self contained (no need for batteries and battery charger...just the charging "dongle" that comes with it. As for advice, moral support, suggestions on juice, suggestions on how to drain your wallet....WELCOME!

I wish all the best...
But like what I always suggested to new vapers is start dripping...
Tank system is ok,but u have to consider how much nicotine u were getting when u were smoking analogs,...quitting smoking is not easy as any other people think...
If u VAPE TO QUIT
start investing in
KNOWLEDGE, SAFETY, AND ...
RIGHT SETUP, NICOTINE IS THE KEY...
GOOD LUCK BROTHER

Not sure how tanks vs drippers effect nicotine levels. Your phrasing implies that what you use has a bearing.

There's a big difference between 2.
you can vape on 12 mg on a tank system but I don't think any vaper out there can drip on 12 mg!?
I'm not sure what u vape, but im 100 for sure dripping burns the nicotine a lot harsher than a tank... You should know this!

I'm aware of this (6mg btw)...but the context seemed to imply that delivery was a factor in nicotine uptake. The OP suggests that they are new to vaping, and is probably unaware of what strength to start out at...and considering that the OP is new...dripping might be a fiddly way to begin. I have been in many a vape shop and have yet to hear a good salesperson suggest a dripping atty as a good place to begin. Cartos are just crap in every sense, and a dripping RDA is too overwhelming for a beginner (and in some cases, a veteran clearo user). As I am wont to say time and time again.....baby steps until the process "sticks". Most importantly, this is just MY opinion.

i don't know how much per one in your country. here in china is very cheap by clone. the same quality 1:1 clone

Explain? A 24g .3 ohm coil wicked with Japanese cotton produces the same heat in a dripper as it would in a....say.....Orchid or Genesis. What gives nicotine that PUNCH in a dripper is the sheer amount of airflow compared to a tank. The coil/wick/battery are constants. You should know this!

For a new vaper, I would suggest starting out with a good clearomizer with easily replaceable coil head assemblies.

Take some time to get used to the ins and outs of vaping before getting into rebuildables and not jump right in with an RDA.

There is a reason that most sites have RBAs and RDAs highlighted with a phrase something like "For Experienced Users Only".

I agree. Keep it simple at first. If there's too much to learn right away, it might turn you off. Also, wrapping your own coils and all that can have serious safety implications that are best avoided until you get to know what you're doing.

Find a juice that you like. I think that, as has been said, is the most important factor in making vaping stick. As you become more used to it, get a device that's a little more advanced and get that much more flavor out of the juice you've been vaping. It's kinda like rediscovering vaping, even after doing it for a while.

If you're into stats, or need encouragement, find a signature banner that keeps track of your progress. It's helped me immensely.

I tried all this in 2011 and it just didn't stick. Partly because I tried it with cigalikes (I suggest ANYTHING but cigalikes), but partly because I just didn't have the internal or external encouragement.

There are many, many possibilities with vaping. Start slow and small. Get to know what you can handle, and take on more and more little by little.

Good luck, and congratulations!

What's your budget?

Search youtube and online for reviews of tanks/clearomizers. Get one that came out within the past year or so (technology moves fast). My vote is for the aspire nautilus mini.

Also find reviews of mods. I'd suggest one with variable voltage/wattage (vv/vw) so you can dial in that perfect vape. The spinner 2 and mvp 2 are staple starter setups. Not mechs yet imo.

Some juice and replacement coils, you're all set. Good luck.

Get an Innokin VV V3 from KatyLoo at mod.bid for $23 & free shipping. Match it up to an Iclear30s and you'll be off to a great start for less than $40.00

They're smaller, but I use EVOD Glass tanks on VV3s. They're a little less likely to roll off a table with the smaller tank.

For those who never were members at the IRC chat belonging to ECF. Randy...aka Jim...aka The Liquor, is a mod there (not that this matters, but good to know anyway)...and NOT new to vaping.

Im not sure if this is a ecf troll post or whats going on but for new vapors looking for a start ecigpens.com is a fantastic place to start. The prices are good and the quality is there and its going to be hard to beat the vape, ease of use and cost from a nautilus mini and your choice of the several stick batteries they carry. They sell a pretty sweet kit for $55 that comes with everything you need but juice.

Im not a shill for the company but I remember when I started and how confusing it can be trying to find a good kit and I like that they sell authentic aspire so your not starting with a clone of a clone of a clone. I think most would agree that has used on that the nautilus mini is a pretty badass vape and a huge step up from the CE4's I had to start with.

I also wanted to add that telling someone who says he just quit smoking and wants to start vaping to start with a rebuild-able dripper might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Not sure if that was a joke or a troll but new people do not know the first thing about safety and your potentially setting them up to blow their fucking face off. If the dude that started the thread was trolling a response like that is exactly the kind of stupid shit he is trying to elicit to make the forum look bad.

People have their opinions on "what is best" and that is quite alright! The beauty of forums is that you can read it all, research it all, and either make an educated decision based on it all.............OR BUY IT ALL! lol. Ok, I've gone barking...time for bed.

I'm rather new to vaping but I'm using the nautilus mini and have no complaints. Tank hasn't given me any issues. Plan on picking up a Russian 91 tomorrow. I should probly wait a little longer but I want a bigger tank so figured since I wanna give rebuildables a try might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone

i also drip 24mg when i drip cause its all i have on hand. so a blanket statement that people dont drip higher nic levels is false but to the op the istick looks good and its cheap to start out with and goes up to 20 watts. plenty of power for a new vapor. good luck with quitting vaping made it easy for me yrmv
