I got a 4nine clone a month or two ago. I got it in trade, knowing the polarity was reversed. It was the one with two 5mm magnets, one in the switch one in the black disc that attached to the battery. I ended up ordering 4mm magnets (doh!). Any I wasn't a fan of the wobble in the switch because if it balancing on two small magnets anyway.
So although I had ONE 5mm x 2mm for the switch I had a bunch of nemesis switch magnets. Even though the magnets are nickel plated i didn't really like the idea of using them for conductivity. My original plan was to wrap them in copper some how. Well being inpatient I thought of a quick fix. I wrapped the nemesis magnets in aluminum (which I read had better conductivity than nickel but not as good as copper) , those touch the the outside copper ring that holds the magnet in the switch, perfect fit actually, while still being repelled by the 5mm magnet in the switch. This is in trial phase I do plan to rewrap, it's a little rough atm.
Should I take off the aluminum, is it unsafe, is it true I would get better conductivity if it's wrapped in aluminum?
